IG30 Apartments

Flat was spacious, comfortable, clean and quite well equipped. Good selection of bars with food down the hill from the apartment and also greengrocers, bakeries and a couple of supermarkets within walking distance. The apartment is on the opposite side of the river to the city centre and the Guggenheim, but all within easy reach - but you have a climb to get back home!

Only one (large) window, which opened onto the street (at ground level) so not ideal to open due to privacy issues. Without any fresh air coming in, the ceiling fan just circulated warm air. No air conditioning. The list of appliances hadn't included a washing machine, which was a bit annoying, I was then surprised to find there was in fact a washing machine in the kitchen - but it was locked! The shower was complicated to operate and seemed to be only able to be full on or off - nothing in between.

Proximité station train-métro de Matiko ainsi que des commerces alimentaire. Quartier calme à quelques minutes à pieds des lieux d'intérêt. Appartement fonctionnel, plutôt grand, en rdc, avec accès par Digicode.

Deux petites remarques pour améliorer le logement. 1- la seule et très grande fenêtre donne sur la rue, en rdc. Une zone occultante sur le bas préserverait l'intimité du logement. 2- il y a une machine à laver le linge mais pas d'étendage.

Não haver qualquer contacto físico (ou, pelo menos, por voz) com o anfitrião. O sistema de abertura das portas obrigava à utilização do telemóvel, o que nem sempre funcionava à primeira tentativa. Não existia ar condicionado o que, num período excecionalmente quente, tornava as instalações pouco adequadas. No entanto tem uma ventoinha no teto (que tínhamos de ter sempre ligada, mesmo de noite). Não havia instruções úteis (por ex., no primeiro dia, não conseguimos encontrar talheres nas várias gavetas/armários - tivemos de contactar o responsável, por Whatsapp, que nos disse estarem numa "Gaveta secreta" por debaixo da placa eletrica do fogão). Preço manifestamente elevado para a oferta.
