The location is amazing. We loved sitting by the window looking out at the Guggenheim. The room was spacious and clean. Our host, Borja, was friendly and welcoming. He sent detailed instructions on how to get to get there, as well as local recommendations. He always answered my messages promptly. Do yourself a favour and book this place. You won't regret it.

Lovely place and Borja is such a kind host. Exceeded all my expectations for a 3-day stay for the solar eclipse viewing. The location is wonderful- a short 10 l-15 easy walk from the old town and the funicular to Arxtanda . I booked a room without a view since was the only one available. However walking back from dinner and drinks each night there was a beautiful view of the sunset, the Guggenheim lit up, or fog and flame displays at the museum depending on the time. It meant each day ended beautifully. Having said that if the room with a view is available - get it! The building also has a lot of charm, great A/C, and an elevator (as does the bridge next door that crosses over to the Guggenheim). The area is very safe and people walk or run along the river both early and late. As a solo traveler it meant I could stay out and enjoy the nightlife. Borja was also a fabulous host. My plane landed 10:30pm and he gave advice on transportation ahead of time, and arranged a taxi when I needed to leave st 7am. Plus I forgot my eclipse glasses at home - all eclipse glasses were sold out days ago in town but he found one for me and left it in my room. It's amazing how kind he was and saved the trip for me.
