Navona Sky Palace

Loved this hotel! Definitely don’t be put off by the entrance. It is a little shabby chic, but the hotel floors are renovated & lovely. Our room was fantastic! Had a sofa, separate toilet in the bathroom & brilliant aircon. Kettle & fridge also in the room. Access to the spa was wonderful! We had exclusive access & it was such a lovely place to relax after a lot of waking, as the sun set- you can see St Peter’s Basilica from there. Contact from the hotel before arrival was great & the staff were all friendly & helpful. Brilliant location near the river, Vatican City, Plazza Navona, the Pantheon etc. We got the bus to the hotel from the train station & it stops right outside. Super easy route.

Was not able to visit the rooftop as it was closed on Sunday and Monday of our stay. We left on a Tuesday

everything was spot on - pefect for a quick stay. location - walkable to most sightseeing spots. Itailan restaurant next door 0 great food and good value!

The customer service was unacceptable at check-in - extremely complicated self check-in to the quality of instructions - it was quite messy and felt by other guests too who were checking in at the same time. My laptop was stolen from the secured premises within the first 20 minutes if check-in. When asked for cctv footage, I was told that there is none as apparently that is a blind spot after hours of waiting. No hot water for 4 people in an apartment for 4 people in winter, residents of the property were disrespectful and grumpy as the building is a 15th century building with quite some residents who are clearly very unhappy to have tourists all year around - Navona didn’t warn or apologise for any such incidents. The apartment is on the ground floor, pretty dark with no sunlight coming in. Heating is okay-ish. The ratings are sadly misleading.
