The location was excellent, a very short walk to the Riva and the Palace. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, it gave a real local residential area vibe. It was very clean, and well stocked with all the essentials. The shower had good water pressure. The host was very accommodating and helpful, allowing us to leave our cases at the apartment after the check out time and collect them later. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this if you are planning to come to Split for a long weekend.
There was some noise in the surrounding area in the early hours of the morning on a couple of the nights, with neighbours scraping chairs and having loud conversations. And the church bells would seemingly ring out on the hour at 6am most days, neither of which are in control of the apartment or owner of course, and were only a minor inconvenience that didn't take away from an otherwise excellent experience.

Great location with a short walk to the Riva. Host was very accommodating and quick to reply to any questions we had and was punctual in meeting us upon our arrival. We were also welcomed with a box of cookies and a bottle of wine in the fridge which was a nice gesture.
My only comment would be that the bath towels were rough and it would be nice if they bought newer softer ones.
