Room and Breakfast San Marco

Era un viaggio di lavoro organizzato all’ultimo. Non avevo grosse pretese e questa struttura mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso. Niente di eccezionale, ma tutto al posto giusto.

Davanti alla struttura c’è un cantiere attivo, questa è l’unica cosa che trovo migliorabile ma non dipende da loro.

Colazione be organizzata e oltre le aspettative, mancava solo lo yogurt tra gli alimenti classici, ma per il resto c’era davvero tutto sia dolce che salato. Camera confortevole e letto dotato anche di doppio cuscino. Posizione strategica, a due passi da centro ma in strada silenziosa. Comodissima anche per chi arriva dalla stazione.

Migliorerei l’insonorizzazione. Dalla camera si sente purtroppo se qualcuno è nella zona comune a far colazione.

Nice place to stay while visiting Bologna, good location close to bus stop and around 25 minutes walking straight to Old city center. I used the cheap way of getting from the airport by Q line bus and then changed 2 more buses to get to the property for 2.30 euro (the bus ticket is valid for 75 minutes).I enjoyed my one night stay as my main goal was to visit Queen and Freddie Mercury temporary exhibition at Museo della musica. I loved the spacious Bologna room (the red one), everything was new and modern decorated, loved the bathroom also and the shower. The kitchen in the common area is also nice and modern, the three tables matching the rooms colors were prepared for breakfast. The owner left too much food and drinks for me in the fridge in the room and on the desk. I am familiar with the Italian style of breakfast, but this one provided more than expected and it was ok for me. The bed and pillows were comfy and the silence during nightime for a good sleep was highly appreciated. The owner sent me all written instructions for self checkin with explanatory videos and photos as well. Nice and friendly owner, he helped me with the door opening as I did not manage to get in and I think I blocked the code.

The self checkin was challenging for the first time. You must read carefully all the instructions received from the owner and use exactly the codes with the pictograms and numbers, also watch the explanatory videos. Modern technology can be a little bit difficult for some people 😇. Lately, I travel mostly cashless as I rely on my Revolut card, but do not forget to bring some cash for the city tax, which must be paid in cash at the property. It is not a big issue but keep that in mind.
