The apartment had all amenities. Good location

There was a window but it looked onto a brick wall. There’s no cleaning service. You have to bring the garbage downstairs yourself. Also the corridor opened to the street.

Great location. The in room kitchenette had all the utensils and cooking equipment etc you would need and a toaster, microwave and hotplate. Washing machine in the room was great.

4 stools for the table instead of 3 would have been great given the room was for 4 people. We would have loved to have the room vacuumed as we stayed 5 nights. Would be fine without if less nights

Nothing

We had a problem in our room but they conveniently organized a transfer to another room which solved the problem. The rooms are well equipped and it was great having a washing machine in the room. The staff speaks English fluently and are very friendly. The beds were comfy and there is a lot of room to store your luggage and stuff. The rooms were a decent size for 2 people. The hotel is located in a quiet area but within walking-distance to Ueno park, restaurants and shopping streets. It is close to airport skyliner station which we ended up walking to (took us about 10 minutes to get there while carrying our luggage).

There is no smoking area in the hotel or nearby which might be a big deal for some people. The lack of housekeeping and change of towels/sheets is a downside. I wish there were more outlets and light switches, it's not convenient getting out of bed every time you want to turn on/off the lights or charge your phone.
