About this apartment rental
Apart from the odd bleat of a sheep or moo of a coo, there’s not much else to disturb the peace at this spot in the Perthshire countryside. Fields stretch before you (check out the view from the balcony), yet it’s just three miles to the charming market town of Dunkeld to stock up on supplies and try the local cafes. It’s also a walker and mountain biker’s paradise around these parts – this home has heated bike storage and a boot room. The wood-burner in the living room can warm up frozen toes and the sleek kitchen is equipped with everything you need to fuel up, post-walk. Your host is in the neighbouring farmhouse should you need anything.

*On a small-holding, the owners live in the main farmhouse on the same estate
*This home is up a set of stairs from the entrance so may not be suitable for those with limited mobility
*There is private parking for two cars as well as a bike shed, but please note that this home is down an unpaved farm track and a 4x4 is advised in winter
*Your host welcomes dogs, but they must be kept on a lead so as not to spook the livestock
*One of the bedrooms has a zip-and-link bed so can be set up as a second double on request
*Your host can provide a travel cot and high chair for infants, just ask
*There is no dedicated laptop desk and the Wifi here can be patchy
