To put our review in context we were there during the tale end of the August heat wave. We booked the property because it was close to Loch Tay where we were competing in an event. The property had a wow factor the minute we stepped in side the front door. It is beautifully appointed and very spacious three large bedrooms two with en-suite and a further bathroom. The lounge diner is stunning with views over the lake. The dining table that converts to a pool table was a nice touch. The kitchen has a full size fridge freezer, microwave and conventional oven. There is a balcony the full length of the property that overlooks the lake. ( besides the ducks we saw a heron and there is a field full of reindeer) The property is remote so if you are into the night life it may not be for you but Aberfeldy and Pitlochry are the nearest towns with a large co-op in Pitlochry and slightly smaller on in Aberfeldy. Rapid EV chargers in both towns. The drive to both is through absolutely breathtaking scenery. While there we swam in three different lochs Loch Tay, and Loch Tummel and Loch Faskally. You can take a boat trip from Fort William around Seal Island with great views of Ben Nevis. We also took the steam train from Fort William to Mallaig ( the Harry Potter train)
You have to book that on line in advance.
So in summary the property is utterly fabulous the location is serene and the surrounding areas are beyond words in terms, just utterly breath taking. We had an absolutely fabulous break there and will becoming back.
Minor comment it would be cool if there was an EV charger point at the property

Lots of space within the lodge, amazing location. Pool table under dining table a great bonus that wasn’t advertised and should.
Lodge starting to look worn and tired and in need of updating. Kitchen benches and cupboards damaged, dishwasher and extractor fan was broken during our stay. barely functioning fridge freezer, dining chairs falling apart and upholstery staples coming through seat cushions. exterior in need to cleaning.

Location was lovely, great interesting view, very quiet and peaceful. Had to drive to get anywhere!
Pool table was a bonus as well as ensuite for all 3 rooms.
All good except the weather!

Lovely location - very peaceful
Curtains in main bedroom should be heavier to keep out the light.

The size of the lodge was very unexpected. It was huge. The view was amazing and always changing with the clouds, sunshine, and even snow.
We didn't stay long enough.

We had a fabulous holiday at the lodge, everything was great.
The area is wonderful, very refreshing to be in the middle of nature. Plenty of snow and fun for the kids, the pool table is an excellent idea.
Robert was very helpful, professional and responsive.
Thank you for everything.

Beautiful views and the lodge was well equipped and very comfortable, ensuite bedrooms were a bonus as was the pool table which was enjoyed by all the family, great holiday weekend enjoyed by all.
Only fault I can mention is that we didn't get any sun on the balcony which would have been lovely to sit out on particularly in the warmer weather and enjoy the fantastic view but in saying that was still beautiful to look out at through patio doors.

Nice location, out in the wilds
The changes implemented by owner after we had booked and the communication afterwards, leaving at 9am in the morning is ridiculous, the lodge is lovely but some of the finishing touches were cheap in particular the toilet brushes in the two bathrooms we used. The plastic handled cutlery was cheap and nasty and some of the flooring needs repaired. Bed in main bedroom was like sleeping on a park bench, very hard. No back cushions on sofa just scatter cushions.
The response from the owner says it all, we didn’t expect Diamond encrusted cutlery just something better than was provided and the reason I mentioned the cheap toilet brushes was they were broken off below the handle and to clean the toilet you had to hold the brush on the stem even with gloves on not very pleasant. I wouldn’t go back, there are better places with a damn sight better service and less arrogant owner
