Cortile dei Giusti - Combo Guesthouse

This was a great wee hostel. All single beds and no bunks was awesome. And the little things like own separate bath mats for the shower and toiletries. It was clean and close to centre of town. I walked to everything I wanted to see. Safe and secure with codes for both front door and the room.

The location is perfect, but what makes it even better was the great hospitality of the host. Thank you Pietro! Make sure you gonna grab a cafe there ;)

Easy check-in. Pietro (the owner of the place) is an exceptional person! Super friendly and helpful, always there to answer questions or give tips on how to visit the city. The dorm room was quite cold, so I asked for an extra duvet and got one immediately (at no extra cost). Towels are included in the price. The hostel is ideally located for visiting the historic centre of Palermo, everything is within walking distance.

In the dorm room and in the bathroom it smelt of sewage the whole time (really awful). The shower was leaking, so the floor of the bathroom was always wet and flooded. The heating in the dormitory only consists of air conditioning, which you cannot regulate independently in the room. It was quite cold in there (because of the cold temperatures outside). There is a very small kitchen in the hostel, which is poorly equipped and in very bad hygienic conditions. I would not like to prepare food there! The common space is in the corridor / entrance of the hostel, there are some seats and tables, a very small space, not inviting for passing a lot of time there. The big common space you see in the photos is not part of the hostel common space.
