Beautifully kept property, inside and out. Welcoming and friendly hosts. Totally recommend this Bed and Breakfast

Mic and Anne are exceptional hosts and their home is perfect! We loved the welcoming reception from their pup, Lily. As dog lovers this was a wonderful touch. In the evenings they confirmed a time for breakfast and our preferences. The home-cooked traditional Irish breakfast was delicious and the alternate continental option was also enjoyable. Additionally, ice water was waiting in our room and refreshed whenever we asked. The room and en suite were spacious and perfect for our needs. Their home is also a great base for exploring all County Donegal has to offer and is central for daily excursions. If we ever return to Ballybofey, we will definitely stay at Mayrone House. The grounds and house were immaculate. My room and bathroom were extremely clean. The breakfast was impeccable. The hosts were incredibly nice. 10 out of 10 in these categories.

Of the three nights that I stayed at the B&B, two of the nights my shower began warm and ended cool. Only the first night was I able to have a hot shower. I think this was due largely to the number of guests in the house. The shower fixture was also a bit odd and didn't provide much in the way of water pressure. And the bed in my room had a permanent depression on the right side as you face it. This made sleeping difficult, as I kept rolling into the hollow.

This is a very comfortable and very clean bed and breakfast. Ann and Mike were very helpful and gave us a good recommendation for a local restaurant.
