The shower was good and the bed was very comfortable.
The food next door in the pub was wonderful.
The staff were excellent.
The lack of a cooked breakfast was no bother, I had the choice of cereal and porridge plus tea and coffee.
When I opened the blackout curtains in the morning, the support pole separated in the middle. It was a bit of a fiddle putting it back together successfully. A wee bit of maintenance would help that happening to someone else. Room 7.

The room was tastefully furnished, the bed really comfortable and the shower hot! Just a stone's throw from the main street.
The kettle is due for a descaling.

Excellent location
When we arrived the room was freezing as there was no heating on. My wife had to turn the radiator on herself as no instructions were left as to the heating. The heating was turned off by the staff when they were locking up for the night. The contact phone numbers left on the wall did not work. Next morning which happened to be my wife’s birthday, the room was so cold that we left to find heat in a cafe. We returned several hours later to a still freezing cold room. I had to go to the bar to request the heating be turned on. A lady was very apologetic and turned the heating on. As the day was freezing & raining hard we decided to watch tv but we could not as the streaming service was not linked to the tv in our room. I requested help to fix the problem & waited in the room for at least 1 hour. No one came to sort it out. We left for a few hours and on returning we saw that the tv was still not working. It was my wife’s birthday & we were totally fed up so we left & returned home.
