City Centre location, clean and pleasant

I was a single room in a Hostel, worked for me as I was working. Shared Bathroom and Toilet and it worked well for me. There was a kitchen downstairs and it was close to the town. I was able to park.

Maybe room door lock could be improved. Otherwise it met expectations

One Night Stay-Passable,Could be Better.

The reason I booked this stay was its in the Central location,and I had a test early morning. Room was spacious and warm enough. Appreciate that they provided coffe and tea sachets and cookies.

There were none to handle me the keys when I arrived the location at 7:35pm. I waited for 20minutes in the freezing cold and then inside someones kitchen(as directed by them on call). The electric shower was not working and there was no hot water in the washbasin tap too. Kitchen looks unclean. Bed was making squeeky noise the whole time. Bedsheets floors carpets etc were stained and dirty and need maintenance. All over the place there are rules(which are written in a quite rude language,like we stay here for free) Kitchen is closed from 8am to 11pm..lol. The stay is Not PLEASENT,if you are not on a budget,definitely choose somewhere else. I have stayed in much better hostels in other parts of ireland for lesser price. But If you are looking for a quick ,cheap one night stay for urgent needs in letterkenny,maybe you can go for it.

the landlord shouted for doing my laundry, was rude when i was doing my cooking and chopped the plugs off the washing machine when somebody else used it.

Other occupants a bit noisy walking around and snoring but that can happen in any accommodation it was no fault of the owner. Great place to stay ill definitely consider it again

The price was good but not a good experience

The bed was ok

The shared kitchen was off limits between 11am and 8pm. No hot water, the kettle wasn't working. Apparently the owner does not like people gathering there during the day 😵‍💫. The floors are wooden and it was very noisy until about 3:30 in the morning

Windows filthy net filthy live wires at door where doorbell should be and a skip outside full of rubbish and just about to knock the door when a rat ran across our path. We got back into the car and left

Hidden gem in Letterkenny

Room was fantastic, I've had far worse hotel rooms at twice and thrice the price. I was in Jasmine at the top of the house. Great en suite and comfy bed.

In conclusion, apart from the very wet bathroom floor; the place was clean.

The location

I did not expect to share a bathroom, I had to wait for about 30mins to use the bathroom. When it was finally free, the floor was wet. I waited for a while but no one cleaned it so I had to dry it to enable me use the toilet.

Terrible

Other than the heater being on when i walked in and when off shortly after, the rest was terrible from a messy room with Window flames and un-unlaid bed.

I didnt enjoy my stay. Earluy morning a bunch of guys opened my room and had come to remove windows from my room! Then the noises from drilling and falling debris at the exit door made the place unsafe! Worst experience.

The property I booked they unable to put me up because she had some one else in the room they did not call me to let me know until I called them to say I was going to be late because my flight was delayed A few hours so she made arrangements to put me up with a friend of hers but when I seen the out side of the place it didn’t look safe and very dirty around it what do I do to get my money back please as I had to book another place

Disappointing

My stay was a bit of a disaster to be honest. Half an hour before check in, when I was almost at the accomondation I got a call from the host who told me that they didn't have the room ready because the staff was sick. The room was equipted with everything you need but the walls are verry thin so you could hear everything from the other rooms. There was one guy on my floor fighting with someone over the phone all night and I could understand every word. The bathroom and kitchen weren't really clean and in the end I was happy to leave.

free washing mashine and dryer! Kettle in the room (with cookies, tea and coffee), clean room, big supermarket around the corner, easy check-in with key box, cheap

dirty kitchen (especially the cabinets), other residents were very loud (you hear every step) short story about the owner: We knew that the washing machine is free, so we wanted to do our laundry in the evening. There were wet towels and a sheet in the washing machine. Thinking this was freshly washed we put the things on the table and put our laundry in the washing machine. The owner saw this a little later and completely freaked out. She yelled at us loudly and slammed all the doors with a bang. We were afraid she would hurt us!! Some residents came to us after the situation and asked what happened. When she was gone, she wrote us a rude message, to which we replied very nicely and the situation calmed down. Her laundry wasn't freshly washed so she was bothered that we put her towels on the table, we should have put them on the floor. If we had smelled the towels we would have known they weren't freshly laundered. So apparently our fault too? This behavior was absolutely not right by the owner, this could have been clarified in peace. She's the only Irish woman in three weeks who hasn't been nice to us. The accommodation is a budget hostel, you can't expect much. If the situation with the owner hadn't gone like this, we would definitely have given a better rating because the accommodation is actually good for the price!

The stair carpet appeared very worn, and the room carpet had not been vacuum cleaned before arrival, and seemed not to be done during the stay. This was the only aspect of poor cleanliness, the rest was OK.
