Villa Stadi

The location was beautiful, private beach, beautiful scenery, amazing house design and the owners were fantastic.

Villa Stadi is a great, luxury-level home we got to stay and have a short vacation in. The pictures don't do it justice, the courtyard is much nicer and greener than we expected, and the view from the kitchen, living room and upper balcony is very nice, you can sit for hours, sip your coffee or beer and watch the sea, trees and just dream. Nicely decorated and airy. And there's plenty of space to open up boardgames, watch a movie (TV was great and a breeze to connect to for streaming!). The internet is excellent. The house is located VERY CLOSE to the Kastri beaches. The small Kastri beach one is a short walk away (3 minutes), half of it on a shaded pathway between two other properties. The beach itself is good, with sand sections, some shade from trees, but the host will provide you with chairs and umbrella if you wish so. Most important, there's few people on that beach, and that's in late July - Peak Season I believe. Our kids didn't want to leave that beach! A longer walk away - or a very short drive - is the large Kastri beach. That one is wider and more popular, but not crowded enough to be annoying. We liked it too, and it has slightly better sunset view :) 15min away by car is Nikiti town, with the marina promenade, plenty of bougatsa, and the charming Nikiti old town. This house works well for 2+2 family, but can accomodate much more depending on your sleeping arrangements and tolerance to heat. The two main bedrooms we used had very good air conditioning, the third one doesn't have direct AC but can be cooled with a ventilator. There are also two beds in a partially separated space connected with the living room and with direct AC. The house has one full bathroom, one half bathroom and a separate room with only shower (very useful!) All in all this is a great stay, and the host is so helpful and always ready to respond to questions and wishes.
