Great family place

Great place for families with kids. Nice breakfast with good variety. The beds were comfortable. The place was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had nice time.

The music was a bit loud in times. The nearest beach was a bit rocky.

Beyond amazing

What didn’t we like, everything was amazing! From our time of booking, they arranged for a taxi to collect us and take us back to the airport. Super friendly owners and staff. The entire complex was always clean and tidy, staff friendly and accommodating. The pool was loved by all of us especially our 2 little mermaids!!! The food was always first class, lots of choices and super tasty. Our apartment was very comfortable and was cleaned regularly including fresh bedding and towels. Our family had a truly amazing holiday and we thank every member of staff for making it so.

Very nice stay, we had a lot of fun, kids enjoyed it. The pool is great.

I like the property overall, very family and kids friendly. There is a big yard with playground for kids. The parking overall was also good compared to a general problem with parking that is present in this part of Greece. The staff members were great and mostly kind and helpful. The sea and beach is close, but you have to go to a beach bar/restourant to get the most of it. The best beach and beach bar we found close by is Fiki. It is close though to a lot of other beaches so for anyone traveling by car it is very well positioned. Pool is also quite nice with a bar that serves excellent drinks :)

Our room was good overall, but was in a basement and you could smell that. It is not severe or unbearable, but just something to note. Another thing about the room is that it did not have a comfty chairs/sofas to relax on and also the bedroom was very hot and difficult to get air into it. Again, none of this is a deal breaker but just minor points.

Great place for family vacation

Very friendly and polite hosts; Cleaning - 3 times per week (with linen/towel change), fast reaction to change the non-working lamp, good food (hb); isolated veranda/piazza in front with table/chairs, and comfortable rack for drying, quite quiet place, far from loud center; comfortable beds; the nearest beach is just in 3-4 minutes walk - with crystal clean water, and under-crowded; Good restaurants in Pefkohori center.

Dislikes are just quite insignificant inconveniences for the rest : Room cleaning sometimes started at about 9 am - at this time we we not always ready to leave the apartment; Internet is not very fast in the apartment, even browsing sometimes was slow (while wifi coverage seems ok); at the bar we were told about some issues with POS, so for lunch we decided to go to the center of Pefkohori by car (otherwise it would be a long walk), and parking there (in Pefkohori center) is a bit tricky.

The sea in front of the hotel was amazing and the area picturesque. The distance to the neighbouring villages was walkable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was cozy and the staff were very friendly. The location is super nice since it is in a quiet area close to a couple of villages, walkable on foot. Bonus: the sea in front of the hotel is really beautiful!

Location is outstanding, just few meters from the beach. Accommodation is excellent with seaview terrace. Food served for breakfast and dinner was delicious, large choice of dishes, including deserts. Staff and manager/owner are very helpful, they made our stay very pleasant. See you next year...

A luxurious residence

Everything was absolutely excellent. The food, especially breakfast was a 10/10, the facilities were fascinating, the rooms very clean and well furnished, the personnel was more than helpful and above all Mr. Stefanos, the owner, was by your side for anything you may wanted. Apart from that, the location is very beautiful and peaceful, the sea sides 3 minutes on foot and if you don't want to visit a plaza, the hotel's pool is always a good solution. To sum up, Golden Residence is a european standards hotel in Halkidiki. From me a 10/10 and I promise to visit it again, perhaps next summer.

Really good experience with welcoming reception

We arrived and the receptionist was really welcoming. We spent 2 days and they were very attentive and friendly during our stay. Also the pool is amazing. Definitely a good place to go. It is close to the city center where you can go to eat at night and have drinks. However, if you want to have dinner at the hotel, they can provide it for a reasonable price. Special thanks to Stefanos and I hope I can visit this place again soon ! Take care.

Very, very, very bad internet connection or no internet at all. You have to tako garbage by yourself. They told us sheet and towel changing in 3 days, but for 8 days they did it only once on our request.
