Le Paradis - Beautiful T3 with nice view on the Visitation

It is a very well located property. The building is 125 years old so has character but the apartment feels modern and has been well maintained.

We had a very bad experience on arrival. We were due be met by Nabil from the management company, Concierge du Lac. He arrived 30 minutes late leaving us in sweltering heat and with our car illegally parked. Instead of apologising, which we would have accepted, he complained bitterly about how he had too many arrivals to deal with. When I said that wasn’t really our problem he flew into a rage, threw the keys at my wife and stormed off leaving us to have to work out where to park and to find our way to the apartment. He was aggressive and intimidating and it cast a shadow over our stay. If the owners read this we would strongly advise that they change management company. The are in our late 60s and the whole experience was upsetting and stressful.

Zugang zum ersten Stock erstmal gewöhnungsbedürftig mit langer Treppe und 3 Eingangstüren anschließend, liegt an einem stark frequentierten Verkehrskreisel, sonst war alles perfekt

Our party of three adults loved this appartment. The building had character and was surrounded by private garden. The appartment was first floor up a flight of external stairs then through a shared lobby. It had a veranda round three sides with views overlooking the garden, the mountain across the town, and of course the Church of the Visitation. There was room to sit on the veranda weather permitting. The living area was spacious and stylish. The two bedrooms were at opposite sides of the appartment making it well suited to adults sharing. The shower room / laundry facility was good. The heating was easy to switch on to make the appartment warm.

The shower / toilet room had two doors, one to the main bedroom, meaning everyone had to remember to lock and unlock both before and after use. The kitchen equipment supplied seemed random and minimal - insufficient to cook any sort of meal at all. General Tip - the appartment is up a steep hill which is of course great for the view, but don't make the mistake I did of walking with luggage from the train station! and if you use Uber book or check advance, there didn't seem to be many available.

Great location close to the old town.

Next to a very busy roundabout so the traffic noise is loud and means you don’t really want to sit outside on the balcony - it feels very exposed. Beds in the kids room are on wheels which are broken so they beds move around and aren’t flat. They were very uncomfortable. Minimal kitchen ware - definitely not enough to cook a meal. Poor communication with the host over a broken washing machine - this wasn’t properly fixed and a lot of my clothes were ruined as a result of being stuck inside the machine overnight
