We had a really comfortable stay at The Boat. I’d read some previous reviews mentioning problems with the air conditioning and traffic noise, but neither was an issue for us – the air con worked perfectly and, although you can hear traffic outside, it wasn’t enough to disturb us. The location was really convenient, around an 8-minute walk into town, and there’s a bus stop just outside with buses to various places. We used it to visit the summer toboggan runs, which were great fun, and simply paid the driver on the bus. Mila gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived and was really friendly and helpful. There’s also a great bakery less than five minutes away – walk down the road, turn right at the end and it’s in the lobby of the hotel. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay and having a washer and dryer was really useful too.

The apartment was slightly smaller than we expected from the photos, but with two bedrooms it still suited our needs perfectly well. The only thing that would have made our stay a little easier would have been having two sets of keys rather than one.

Le stationnement et la climatisation sont un vrai plus. Le logement est très agréable, joliment décoré et très bien situé.

Le seul point négatif est la chambre parentale qui est situé côté d’une route passante et qui a des stores qui laissent rentrer le jour dès 5h du matin.

Location is very good.

Serious miscommunication between two employees Ciryl, Mark and me. Misleading information about who was supposed to hand me the keys over, with a delay of 30mins from the agreed appointment after several calls from my side. Very dusty apartment, specially on the balcony. No air conditioning on the rooms. The shower bathroom has no toilet, the other bathroom has no mirror, so brilliantly they transformed a two-bathroom apt. into a one-bathroom apt.
