Clean and spacious

Very spacious, spotless and exceptionally well equipped, with a beautiful outlook. Excellent communication regarding check in and departure information.

We stayed in August and had fabulous weather! I loved the location, the ice bath & sauna, the wooded walk to town and the beach, and the way the new building has been purposefully designed. The penthouse was spacious and had everything we needed, even a washer dryer (very handy!). We didn’t really hear or see other guests, other than on the patio, which was a bonus. I also loved how easy it was for the dogs - last thing at night and first thing in the morning we just walked around the property for a wee break; and there was a lift for tired paws! The luggage trolleys were a nice touch.

Things that could be improved - 1. Dog waste bins needed emptying (but happy to have them available!). 2. Furniture was stained and clearly been washed, had shrunk and was ill fitting. It’s tricky as not everyone takes care of stuff on hols, especially when dogs are with them. 3. It’s a personal thing but cushions and throws on hotel beds are a no for me. They are rarely washed regularly and carry all sorts of nasties. 4. A few more tumblers & mugs needed - we had over a dozen wine glasses but only 4 tumblers and (I think) 4 mugs. Not a biggie but we don’t drink wine.
