Its sister town Lynton perches further up the cliff, and the best way to visit is via the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway (1 mile away). Further inland, Watersmeet (2 miles) offers riverside serenity, while the famed Valley of Rocks (2 miles) promises far-reaching ocean views and wild animals. Other nearby spots include surf-paradise Woolacombe (18 miles) and the market town of Dulverton (20 miles).
