With the harbour, beach, shops, cafes and restaurants just metres away, families and groups of friends can explore the village without tackling the steep hills the area is famous for. The South West Coast Path passes close by, offering spectacular seaside walks in both directions, while riverside strolls and woodland trails into Exmoor National Park begin almost from the doorstep. Lynton’s dramatic clifftop views are easily reached via the historic cliff railway, and nearby beaches such as Woody Bay (3 miles) and the wide sands of Combe Martin (6 miles) provide excellent options for seaside days out.
