Just over a mile away lies the beautiful harbour village of Lynmouth, where you can stroll along the shoreline, browse quaint shops, or enjoy cream teas in cosy cafes. Take the famous water-powered Cliff Railway to reach Lynton (1.2 miles), perched above the cliffs, or explore the dramatic Valley of Rocks (2 miles), known for its wild goats and sweeping sea views. The wooded gorge of Watersmeet (1.8 miles) offers serene riverside trails and a National Trust tearoom, while further afield, the wide sandy beach at Woolacombe (18 miles) makes a great day trip. This single-level lodge sleeps four guests across two bedrooms: a restful double and a light twin room, both comfortably furnished to ensure a good night’s sleep. Completing the interior is a sleek family shower room with shower and WC, providing convenience for all guests.
Outside, the lodge benefits from a private decked area, offering a peaceful spot to sit out and soak up the fresh Exmoor air.
