Convenient location but so many opportunities for a memorable stay missed.

1. The location is very central and convenient. 2. Views from the room over the old city is amazing. 3. Room was decently cleaned the second day.

All the things that was wrong : 1. The first day we arrived there was a very bad smell in the room, like an open toilet drain. We blocked all the bathroom drains and opened the window to ventilate through the night. This did not really work, as the noise from the street was so much that we could not sleep. Unfortunately we timed our stay to coincide with the commencement of the student year and there was a big party in the street below that lasted until 4 in the morning. After that it was the municipal workers cleaning the bottles from the street. The next night the smell was better, but we left the windows open the whole day. 2. We received very worn and threadbare work bath towels that we requested they replace, which was done promptly unfortunately with some in a similar state. The next day we received new towels in a much better state. 3. Black mould in the shower basin and tap, and at the basin splashback. I asked that this be cleaned and it was done. It did seem as if it was prepared up in a hurry on the first day.

Relatively good quality for the price (it was among the cheapest hotels in Leuven at the time of my reservation)

I have not been able to take a shower - only a bath. But perhaps it is my bad, I didn't even ask staff for a solution

Let's be honest there's no parking

Very centrally located. Room was clean. No tea/coffee making facilities.

Nobody in reception, just a sign giving a number to ring. Also (not sure if this is the responsibility of the hotel or of Booking.com) if the "parking" is a public car park almost 10 minutes walk away then to all intents and purposes there is no parking and that is what the website should say. Furthermore, it is not possible (legally) to park outside the hotel to offload your luggage before the drive to said car park. Fortunately a friendly policeman was there and he gave us a few minutes.

Right at the city centre

The accommodation is in a very nice location directly at the city centre (this means, of course, that noise from the street is to be expected, but I was not bothered by that at all). The hotel is a bit old, which meant a little extra effort to unlock the room doors, but otherwise well-maintained. The room was cleaned daily with clean towels supplied daily (slightly worn, but clean). The breakfast was simple, but everything was fresh, just enough for a quick start to the day.

Location Location

The location could not be better the staff are very friendly and helpfull the price was resonable the room I had was quite spacious but a little dated I was informed that they are goung to up date the rooms, breakfast was OK and the well stocked bar was very good if I came back to Leuven I would book it again .

It was a bit noisy at night so if you want quiet its not for you, the towels are changed often but some are past their use by date, stairs are a bit dimly lit and it is dull by the lift at the ground level.

Bad ending .

It was centrally located and the rooms were comfortable.

It was noisy with young people shouting nearby till the early morning . Also I missed my 7.20 train to Charleroi airport as THE main DOOR wouldn't open with the key and the manager had to come to let me out . I had to buy a new flight ticket and had to go to Brussels airport and then Dublin Ireland ... it cost 180 euro extra . When I got to Dublin I then had to travel to Cork ...3 hours on train to collect my car . I had a very awful day and I am 70 years of age .

Good cheap, no frills hotel in the centre of town

Comfortable beds and good shower. Good central location and cheap.

Breakfast was only from 8 and we had to leave at 7.30 Requested private parking wasn't offered on arrival.

Relaxed and enjoyable........great staff.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The atmosphere they created was very relaxed and informal. I enjoyed them.

Nice in Leuven

Great location (a few minutes away from the university). With colleagues we had some cocktails in the evening and they are the best cocktails in town! Nice atmosphere and friendly owner!

the bar down the hotel was the only thing that was nice

you can’t sleep bcs of the people who stay up whole night the room was so old that you couldn’t tell if it was clean or not there is no free parking and even with payment you need to park in a public parking like 5 min away

Not terrible, but not good either. Quite pricey for the low quality.

It is very much in the center, where all the bars are.

Run down hotel. Some mold in the bathroom and a towel with spots on it. Besides that, the cleanliness was acceptable. Water temperature in the tub (which I used as a shower) turned extremely hot and then cold again within seconds.

The location of the hotel is very central. It allows you to get to know the old city in just a few walks... that was really worth it. Despite the simplicity of the place, the staff are attentive. The breakfast is very simple, but perfectly meets the traveler's needs as it offers bread, croissant, cold cuts (cheese, salami, prociutto), juice, yogurt and fruit (The lady who prepares the coffee is kind and attentive). You have to take cost-benefit into consideration.

unfortunately, the exit from the hotel garage has a deep ditch in the street, deep enough to scratch my car. I took a big loss to repair the rental car. the first room they booked me there was no water in the toilet, it was broken. But in the room where I was relocated everything was ok. nothing that compromised the accommodation. They could be a little more careful with the cleaning of common areas (elevator, corridors, etc.).

Good location. Room was good size, comfortable and fairly quiet for being above a bar in town centre. Breakfast was very good for the room rate.

Room decor is in need of freshen up. Bathroom is dated. Car park is difficult to find with accessing hotel first which is in a paved area. Only 2 spaces so not guaranteed. Cost of parking is €20 but ut is expensive throughout city. We had issue leaving due to the fob for garage being with another member of staff. Fortunately it was sorted in about 15 minutes. Staff were apologetic and gave us coffees while waiting.

Not recommended

The central location was the only good thing. I would absolutely recommend finding another place with slightly higher room rates to get a better service.

If you are visiting during winter, do not rely on heaters as they stop working randomly. The shower and bathroom in general have ancient installment and you need to work a lot to adjust the correct temperature in shower. Most importantly, if you are on a business trip (we were), and have an event starting early, do NOT count on breakfast starting at 8:00 am, because it does not. After the first day of late breakfast, I kindly asked for on-time breakfast in following days as we had to attend morning sessions of a conference, and the staff said they will pay attention to this. But they absolutely did not, and earliest breakfast we could have was always at least 15 minutes late. This is a lot of wasted time for someone trying to catch a 9:00 session. A lot of noise at the corridor, the rooms are not sound proof, it is hard to sleep at weekend nights due to party noises as the hotel is very central.
