The location was very private and quiet with an amazing view from the deck as well.

The bathroom and toilet door has no locks. When using faucets, there's a weird knocking sound from somewhere but more likely under the house?

Beautiful comfortable whare tucked away from all the noise. Was soo good to be back home where I lived 30 years ago. It was definately a walk down memory lane. Great hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and the check out time was perfect for what we needed to do. Thank yous xx

Great price for a lovely spot to stay whilst doing the Far North!

Great location for doing a trip to the far north. Very beautiful views, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. As others have said some fans would have been great as windows open meant moths and other bugs. Had some visitors with a mum cat and her kitten which we also enjoyed. Host was lovely and accommodating too. Great value for what the price is- thanks for a nice stay

Good location for visiting the Cape

The location to Cape Reinga and Giant Sand Dunes was great, and the space of the property for families or groups.

The beds were not comfortable and it was quite humid when we stayed overnight in April, with no fans available in the property to help us sleep. Could also be improved with better tea and coffee provisions including milk. There was only three tea bags for four adults and no milk.

Absolutely gorgeous “Bach” property. Location away from the small town is perfect. A true escape and loved the typical kiwi old style Bach. Had all the facilities you need.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and warm. The beds were comfortable & we enjoyed exploring the garden.

Spacious, Relaxing

The location was pretty close to our final destination - Cape Reinga Lighthouse and the closest supermarket was only 40 minutes away from the house. The host Kelly was also very friendly, we couldn't meet in person but she explained very clearly of how to find the house key which was very helpful. Some board games in the living room, such as Monopoly, skip-bo etc. The experience overall was satisfying, thank you Kelly.

The heater in the living room was a bit old and rusted, it's better to replace it with a new one.

Didn't like the beds - quite soft. Wife got lots of insect bites in bed (probably flea bites).

Mehr Schein als Sein ..

Allein stehendes, aber sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Haus & Garten. Für 1 Nacht ok. Es können eigentlich 8 Personen in 3 Zimmern übernachten. Mit Abstand die schlechteste Unterkunft in 5 Wochen Neuseeland und meist jede Nacht woanders.

Vielleicht soll der Garten eher ungepflegt und dschungelig wirken, auch im Haus und drumherum wirkt es eher ungemütlich und der Teppich ist schmuddelig. Das geht definitiv besser.

Es hat alles wunderbar gepasst , wir haben lediglich ein Handtuch vermisst. Waren zu dritt hatten aber Handtücher nur für zwei. Hatten Gott sei Dank auch ein eigenes dabei😊. Sonst hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Danke für die tolle Übernachtungsmöhlichkeit
