About this house rental
This private and spacious home has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and enough sleeping arrangements for 8 guests but will comfortably accommodate 6 making this the ideal place for families or groups of friends to enjoy the wonderful far north experience.
You'll feel right at home the moment you step inside with the indoor outdoor flow from the spacious, comfortable living area to the deck/ BBQ area which looks out over stunning rolling hillsides and out to the ocean waters of Rarawa Beach.
This home has everything needed for a comfortable stay including free WIFI, TV with built in DVD player and satellite Freeview which will be sure to satisfy everyone whilst on holiday.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities necessary from pots and pans to serve ware for those cheese platters which will sure to be enjoyed alfresco looking over the breathtaking views.
The outdoor shower will definitely come in handy to hose off that sand from your fun filled day at any of the spectacular beaches in the area and the fish cleaning station is perfect for filleting all those big catch of the day's on and with the extra freezer space available you'll be able to take your fish home.
There is ample private parking for several vehicles and/ or multiple large boats.
Situated 5 minutes from Rarawa Beach and Henderson Bay just 2 of the many beachs the far north has to offer both boast excellent fishing, surfing and swimming.
Pack a lunch and head to Cape Reinga to absorb the beautiful breathtaking views of the top of New Zealand and then stop in at Taputaputa bay for a picnic and a swim.

The location was great as was the amount of space, view and quietness
The problems: there was a large pool of water in the kitchen when we arrived. Not clear where it came from. We searched without luck for something to wipe it up with and finally called the contact number left in the house but were told there were no extra towels nor sponges nor paper towels anywhere (there was one bath towel for each of the two of us and no more despite the fact the house could bed at least 5 or 6)... we were directed to a small mop and then spent a while mopping up the pool. Then the mosquitos attacked... this was because the windows had been left wide open with no screens. We must have killed about 40 of them after closing the windows. Closing the windows made the place pretty hot. We saw there was a battery insect control unit in the house but the insecticide was used up. We knew from the prior response no one would be rushing over with a replacement unit/insectiside. Then my wife took a shower and the water came out from under the current and flooded the bathroom and hallway outside as there is no elevated thing to stop the water...and we mopped again. We changed the direction of the shower head and tried to make sure it didn't run that direction after that. There were none of the usual spices or oil/vinegar salt pepper shakers etc so be aware.
