ERTH Abu Dhabi Hotel

Loved our stay at ERTH hotel in Abu Dhabi. The staff were incredible, so helpful and really warm and welcoming. Beautiful beach and stunning pools. I would recommend if you’re looking for a unique experience in Abu Dhabi.

- Room was clean, comfortable - Buffet for dinner and breakfast was vast with many options - Pool and beach was nice, menu there was quite good too

- Staff all seemed a bit clueless and not very helpful / forthcoming - Many of the staff didn't speak or understand English well - why hire them in a customer facing role if they cannot communicate basic English? - On site gym I believe is ran separately, women's gym is amazing but staff weren't friendly or helpful - Buffet especially for breakfast did no accommodate gluten free or diary free allergies - staff and chef were almost confused by this request

The hotel looks clean and modern on the surface, but the overall experience was far below what you’d expect and honestly pretty disappointing. Beach & Pool Areas The beach is littered with empty bottles and rubbish that no one seems to bother picking up. The pool area isn’t much better. There’s no actual water service — instead, you’re directed to an old, tired-looking ice bucket where bottles are dumped for guests to help themselves. Most of the staff around the beach and pool look completely disengaged, with the only real standout being Sami, who was genuinely helpful. To make things worse, the hotel shares both the beach and pool with Privelee members. Weekends were absolutely packed, to the point where finding a sunbed became a competition. Check-In Experience Check-in was a mess. We arrived early and were told we’d get a message when the room was ready. Three days later — still nothing. We had to chase it ourselves. Their WhatsApp communication is basically non-existent, which is embarrassing considering it’s their “official” contact method. One staff member, Samudi (apologies if spelt wrong), was incredibly unhelpful and borderline patronising. And no one explains anything — you’re handed a key card with zero guidance on where facilities are or how anything works. Easily one of the least welcoming check-ins I’ve had. Food & Service This was the worst part of the entire stay. Both breakfast and dinner are chaotic. We were seated at a table, went to get food, came back — and the table had been given to someone else. This happened more than once. Basic things like glasses, cutlery, and cold drinks had to be requested, and even then it felt like we were inconveniencing the staff. Drinks are handed to you in cans with no glasses. Water placed on the table but no cups. Food barely warm. Just consistently poor service from start to finish.

very clean, comfortable and modern facilities. Delicious food in all the restaurants tried and has an incredible female gym. Wish the classes timetable were advertised in the room. Lots of outdoor spaces and different areas to chill.

No turned down service at night, water glasses not changed. Fruit and cake kindly offered in the room but one set of cutlery. Pool staff wanted to charge us for pool day pass after check out. Service at pool side could be better.

Great hotel and the best breakfast ever. Facilities are very good and currently being improved

It’s its own setting so it’s sometimes a bit tricky to get to /from.

Erth hotel is a beautiful example of revitalization of a historic site (originally designed and built in 1983 and later renovated for the public in 2021). It's more of a compound retreat than a typical hotel with nicely landscaped areas to walk, pool and beach access.

The gym and some other areas were currently under construction, so we wish we had been informed ahead of time and perhaps given a discount or some sort of voucher for the local cafes or restaurants for the inconvenience.

Amazing facilities, especially the ladies wellness hub and pool. Staff were fantastic and breakfast was delicious.

the overall vibe of the hotel is amazing and the staff were great and very friendly also the food in the buffet was amazing and we did a walk around the hotel at night that was exception and also we did a golf cart tour the person who drove us was very friendly and nice we also had dinner in ergon and the food was so nice the rooms are very nice and big also the hotel was so nice to provide us with a cake in the room as i requested as it was my wife's birthday

The property was excellent though my child got very sick during our stay and I was asked to wear an extra layer for supposedly wearing something more revealing which I found a bit odd. I’ve lived in Dubai for 10 years and that hasn’t happened to me.

Great staff and hotel, up to date facilities and the room was better than what I expected. The pool was amazing although the beach wasn’t that great but overall I had a great stay - shout out to the staff who were very attentive and helpful and made sure we had a great stay. Breakfast was super diverse in the range of food and good quality too

The staff were super friendly, facilities were amazing , breakfast was the best I've tried in a hotel, gym was the best I've tried in a hotel. Pizza was delicious in pizzeria. Id definitely go back to the hotel.

Only thing is the pizzeria needs more indoor seating as its a little small... also the gyms toilets/showers could be a little more modernised with the theme of the hotel. To give it a more spa feel.

The breakfast was outstanding, with an impressive variety of fresh fruits – not just the usual basics, but also mangosteens, yellow kiwi, and a wide selection of fresh cheeses. There were unique options like date jam, delicious pastries, and plenty of vegetarian choices, which made the buffet really special. My ground-floor room with smart lighting, high-quality toiletries, soft clean bedding, and a perfectly quiet air conditioner that kept the temperature ideal during the summer heat. In the restaurant, I especially enjoyed the vegetarian pizza with fresh mushrooms and a thin crust. However, the lentil soup was too thick and felt more like a puree – I think it would be better served as a lighter soup. Complimentary drinks by the pool and beach area, along with spacious and clean poolside showers, were another big plus. The staff were wonderful – genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help, whether at the reception, on the beach, or in the breakfast hall. Their sincerity made the stay feel warm and welcoming.

The address on Booking first led me to a completely different hotel, which was very frustrating. When I finally reached the property, there were no clear signs for the reception. The entrance near the gym looked exactly like a hotel entrance, and even staff there (with limited English) told me it was the hotel, so I walked in with my luggage – only to find out it was the fitness center. After a long flight and drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, dragging suitcases back and forth through these “labyrinths” was exhausting before finding the main entrance. Please add clear signs at the gym entrance and throughout the complex from the parking area, as well as better directions to the breakfast area. The terrace of my room opened directly onto a shared public space, so it did not feel private. The beach was also disappointing: very small, with sunbeds that were clearly high-quality and made from expensive materials, but they are poorly maintained. Most of them were covered in sand and had black stains on the fabric, making it unpleasant to lie down even with a towel on top. With proper cleaning, they could look as beautiful as when they were new. The beach area also had only one shower with very poor water pressure (sometimes barely working at all). It gave the impression that no one is taking proper care of the beach facilities, which is a shame because the initial investment and design were very good. I strongly recommend paying more attention to maintaining the beach and facilities – otherwise, the potential is lost.

Reception staff need training before start serving the customers, the foreign young lady may be Russian was rude and want to fight, she gave me the keys without explaining any thing although it was not busy & no one waiting after me, after she finished her talking gave me the keys & point to go to room, then I asked her you didn’t tell me about the breakfast place & timing , WiFi, service spa place. She said I know my job then handed me a paper after I asked that , again I asked the timing of breakfast she pointed to the paper & said it’s written in the paper. With attitude that makes us uncomfortable. then I haded to the next Arabic guy who was listening and did not offer to help or guide her ( although we as postgraduate Dr we do speak English ) but her attitude was really strange for us, we travel 2-3 times per month we did not see receptionists acts like this. She ruined our stay experience from the start in this nice hotel.

The room was spacious, the staff were very friendly special thanks to Paolo and the reception staff who were on duty during our stay.

I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share my experience. The property itself is absolutely beautiful — I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. However, my check-in experience was deeply disappointing and unexpected. I was truly shocked by the behavior of the staff member who handled our check-in. Despite the hotel being stunning, her unprofessional and cold attitude completely ruined the start of my stay. As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, in a luxury hotel, I know how important first impressions are — and I have never witnessed a team member speak to a guest the way she did. After a long trip from Dubai, I was tired and expected at least a warm welcome. Instead, I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. I chose not to react and did my best to stay calm, but that does not excuse the experience I had. I sincerely hope that management will speak with her and provide proper guidance. She could benefit from training or at least a serious reminder on how to treat guests with basic respect and kindness. This type of behavior should not happen in a hotel of this standard.

The hotel looked like a spaceship from the outside and like a futuristic airport from inside. I loved the colors used, so minimalistic and pretty. The gym was fantastic, the pools, the paddle court!

There was a lot of kids playing and running and being noisy in the corridor. The Bowling was closed when we went.

The most memorable was the buffet at al rimal. The best hotel food I had in the uae . I could just sit there and eat. The room was very comfortable, clean, spacious. The gardens were a plus to walk around… just wished we came when the weather was better

Their Hospitality was exceptional; all the staff was soo friendly and professional. The Dinner and breakfast buffet was incredible. The rooms were clean and comfortable..very relaxing atmosphere. We enjoy the swimming pool :). We highly recommend everyone to stay in ERTH Hotel.
