While the decor is a little sparse and simple for our liking, the seafront right outside certainly offers a scenic backdrop. And where better to enjoy the salty breeze and blue vistas than from the patio? Storage is limited in the bedrooms and you won’t find any shelves for toiletries in the bathrooms. But for those who are happy to drop their bags and head out for a day at Whitley Bay Beach a stone's throw away, this spot is hard to beat.
