It was a wonderful stay for my family including grandchildren

Plenty of space and no little bits all over the place, which was great as we had two crawling toddlers with us

There were absolutely no hooks for anything - coats, towels, tea towel

kitchen not really stocked properly only 4 dinner bowls, 5 wine glasses, could do with an inventory and invest in a few bits towels not supplied for all 6 people staying luckily I did bring some from home just in case

Lovely large house, suitable for family gatherings. Walkable to the city centre.

Lovely big house, well equipped and clean. Nice dining area to sit and eat meals and play games. Plenty of crockery and cutlery in the large kitchen. Easy to find on a main road.

The listing states that one car parking space is available. This isn’t the case, it’s a permit parking area and we were not given a permit. Luckily the hours of restriction were only 12 till 3 but this meant we kept having to move the car from the small nearby pay and display car park back to the house for unloading and loading etc. It wasn’t a massive issue but not clear in the listing. Also, the neighbours were noisy. This is not something the landlord can control so not negative feedback, just a note to say earplugs might be advisable for light sleepers.

Beautiful house in a perfect location

Very spacious, which the kids loved. Very clean with everything needed for our stay including washing machine, dryer and dish washer. The host, Teresa, was very friendly. We were visiting family just down the road so the location was fantastic for that and only a short walk from shops and the city centre.

Great value for money if you can get past the little niggles

The property was lovely and warm and comfortable. Lovely to have have 2 x decent sized bathrooms and comfy beds, although a larger bed would have been beneficial. Overall the property was very clean bar the point below.

The squeaky floors are rather strange all the way through the property! The cutlery was filthy and had to be washed before use. The parking is awkward if at home between 12 - 3pm Did not dare to empty the bins outside as had been advised not to walk on the decking!

Really nice and clean. Nice furnishings. Spacious. Felt luxurious. Good amenities. Easy access and departure.

Wooden floor was very creaky, which didn't help with our sleep resistant children. The bedding could have been nicer - pillows weren't very comfy but I've had much worse! Overall it was a lovely stay

Modern interior and facilities

No indication that there were steep steps up to front door, difficult ++ for older member of our group. Lack of folder re use equipment eg smart TV pilot light for gas hob, hive heating system, in fact no dossier of information. Only 1 key although information stated 'keys.'

We were happy with almost everything: e.g. the location in the city is superb, because everything is quite close, yet it's easy to get out of it and into the countryside and some awesome beaches; parking was definitely no problem (if you follow the rules).Almost everything you need in a household during a holiday was there (e.g. enough plates).

The only thing we think should be better are the beds which are too small to sleep comfortably (even the kids complained). If the backyard became a little garden, it would come as a real "luxury home". And: we have seen so many amazing welcome packages in other countries the last years. So that would be an extra bonus to an otherwise pleasant stay (and a lot better than many others we have had "the chance" to get to know in England...)

Had a good weekend visiting family

The property was absolutely stunning, decorated and fitted out with a high standard. The location was great too only 10 minutes from the torpoint car ferry

It is advertised as a 3 bathrooms but in reality it is 2 full bathrooms and a 3rd toilet. There are no mirrors in the bedrooms which caused difficulties in drying hair and applying make up; could do with mats in the showers as the trays are slippy; coasters to put hot drinks on would be good as putting drinks hot or cold could ruin the tables. Information booklets for the microwave and cooker would have helped

Very nice house and very clean. Was in a very good location for us. Would definitely use again when we visit Plymouth next time. Hosts were very helpful when needed and answered all questions as best as they could. Would highly recommend anyone to rent this house. We stayed for 3 nights and could of quite happily stayed longer. Apart from the minor issues listed below this house was very impressive. Thanks again!

Could do with a mirror and table in 1 of the bedrooms to do hair and makeup. No plug by the mirrors that's there, so makes it difficult to do your hair. More towels would be great (hand towels for bathrooms & toilet) and basic supplies e.g handwash. The parking restrictions also need to be undated on the description, not being able to park between 12pm-3pm. It wasn't a massive issue but a little inconvenient at times. Now we know for next time we visit, we can plan things differently.

The house is clean. Comfy beds. Good shower. Plenty of space. Nicely decorated. Great stay for a group of friends. Would stay again.

The outside space could do with a tidy up. Broken decking boards. Wouldn't be ideal for kids. Towels didn't smell the freshest. In bedrooms.

Clean and comfortable but lacked finishing touches as rented as luxury house

Location was good for us as we were attending a concert at Plymouth, street parking was good as we travelled by car. The property was spacious and clean beds were comfortable and showers were good.

There was no information folder with instructions for TV's/ bins/no mirrors in bedrooms/tv's would not work in Kitchen and sitting room no TV channels. We had to unload the dishwasher left from previous occupant. No courtyard furniture

An Excellent Hidden Gem!

Trust me, the photos don't do this exceptional house justice, we were absolutely blown away when we arrived! The house is equipped with everything you could need; comfy beds, huge sofa, great quality diningware, the kitchen of my dreams! Lol. It's only a short walk to the city centre and parking was easy peasy. The host was wonderful, responding very quickly to my query and wished us a great stay. I'd recommend this place very highly and will look to stay again next time we're in Plymouth.

Nice house comfortable but please put a mirror in the bathroom!

The house was lovely and clean, well appointed and ideally located for us as it was close to family. We had little difficulty parking on the street close by which was a bonus.

No mirrors in any of the bathrooms and venetian blinds which did not keep out the light so we were woken by the dawn each morning. There is some noise from trains and people on the street but this was not a problem really.

La maison était très jolie (moulures au plafond), 3 chambres séparées, plusieurs toilettes et salles de bains, parking gratuit en fin d'après midi/nuit. Maison très grande et bien située.

Lumière le matin, propreté pas toujours au top (moisissure au plafond dans une des salles de bain et quelques équipements un peu vétustes). Vaisselle pas très propre (poëles encore grasses...)
