Great place in a fantastic location.

The location is amazing and the cottage quirky and comfortable and dog friendly. The host providing fresh milk, tea and coffee and Devon cream teas was a lovely addition

Some of the facilities are now a little dated and whilst in no way did this affect our stay, perhaps a newer shower might enhance the experience.

Hidden gem in Plymouth

Great location. Lovely host. Perfect for our needs. There was parking which is a bonus. Lovely views from the bedroom balcony. Really cute cost cottage.

Peaceful but short drive to town centre

Great for visiting our daughter at university. Lovely peaceful location with beautiful views. Great for visiting local attractions but also close enough to the university we could bring her back for a cooked meal then back to her accommodation. Close to some lovely restaurants and cafes. The accommodation was clean and homely, the heating was on which some hosts do try to not do so great to be in a warm house

The sat nav gets a bit confused by the location.

View and the overall size

We did not find the property real to the listing, the facilities were way more “used” than expected. Basically not worth the value by far, even with the good position and view. Cleanliness has been an issues throughout the property

A lovely couple of days with great views over to Drake’s Island and across the Sound

The location and views were superb and having an enclosed garden for our dog was also great. The owners were very kind, providing us with a welcome pack of essentials (a cream tea counts as essential, doesn’t it??😏) and letting us know that we could leave later than was normally expected on the Sunday as there wasn’t anyone else coming in that day. We really appreciated the opportunity to have a lie in on a Sunday morning 😊 Would stay here again.

The stairs are quite steep so needed careful navigation to visit the downstairs bathroom during the night.

Beautiful location well equipped cottage

Beautiful location and full of homely personal touches. Well equipped in the kitchen and most things you would need on daily basis essential items such as oil tea bags cling film were provided to make life easier

It was cold for us. We were not able to keep the heating on long enough during the day and the main bathroom downstairs only had a heated towel rail to take the chill off. As we live in Dubai we maybe feel the cold more than normal uk people

Pleasant stay in a lovely location

Quaint little cottage with a nice little garden area. A great location for Royal William Yard with a good selection of restaurants. We took the little ferry boat to The Barbican. Lovely walks in the area with our dog. A wonderful view from the front bedroom.

Cottage was lovely, very cute but a bit ‘rustic’ could do with a bit of TLC and a good clean. Shame the grass was quite long and needed a cut and we had to pick up some other dog poo when we arrived. Adjacent car park was quite noisy at night.

A beautiful seaside cottage made our visit to Plymouth first class

A clean,cosy cottage with amazing views. Deco was lovely. Warm and comfortable beds Great location . Just behind Royal Williams Yard, which was full of bars restaurants and live music venues. Car parking. Cottage was right on the seafront by Firestone Bay. A busy area for swimmers. Bus from Royal Williams yard takes you into Plymouth or to Torpoint ferry. A fantastic stay.

Ideal location for a short break, but the cottage was a little cool for the time of year

Scones, jam, cream, coffee and tea on arrival were a welcome treat. The property is in a great location with easy access to the city and Royal William Yard. Everything we needed was provided.

For the time of the year, the cottage was a little on the cold side, but there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm. The heating should ideally be maintained at a slightly higher temperature or come on sooner in the afternoon.

Stunning location, amazing views and private driveway. Peaceful, tranquil and beautiful cottage. The area has a really fascinating history.

A dryer would be good, for when it is cold and wet. However, we were lucky to have such good weather. No complaints as it was a fabulous place to stay.

A lovely home, full of character, in a great location.

Lovely location, great view from the upper deck, and very friendly neighbours

We would have liked a bit more of a 'locals' guide to the restaurants that are so close! We didn't realise that until almost at the end. Not knowing the area it was a bit of a challenge to get taxis (they kept getting lost!)
