45 Brewhouse - Royal William Yard

Really interesting building and a unique stay. Restaurant's, ferry, cinema and gym all in the neighbouring buildings. Compact kitchen but had everything you needed. Double beds were comfy. Clean, but could do with a paint touch up in places and a few of the wardrobe doors need adjustment were not easy to open and close. Make sure you follow the instructions sent by the host and book car parking in advance via the portal link. Parking is 'on street' within the complex so you are always a short walk from the apartment but there is a loading zone out front for the start and end of the stay.

The only negative about this property, which was a big issue during our stay. The beds were not as described. We were a couple and 2 singles. The Booking.com description says 1 double and 1 single in each room, sleeps up to 6. There were only 2 double beds, neither could be converted to singles. There were no single beds at all. There was one very uncomfortable sofa bed, which you had to climb over timber beams to access and we found extra bedding in one of the wardrobes. I tried calling the number in the apartment instructions and messaging host on the RWY portal and despite it saying the message had been read, i did not get a reply all weekend.

The apartment, building and area are fantastic. Very cool transformation of an old area. Easy to catch ferry into city. Lots of dining options close by. Apartment lovely and spacious.

The appliances were a little tired - could do with an upgrade.

The hot water was limited for 3 people taking showers & a bath but otherwise we loved the place.

Great location. Good communication from hosts.

uncomfortable beds and awful pillows (bring your own). No blinds, so bedrooms are light all through the night.
