YiD Elegant apt with garage

The apartment was ready, large, clean once we could get in. But getting in was not easy.

The host forgot we were coming. Had a very hard time making contact. Was left outside wondering which building to go to. Wandered around close to a half hour not knowing what to do until I made contact over the phone finally. There was NO GARAGE EASILY ACCESSIBLE. We had to look for one on our own when told by host company there would be a lot available for parking. Very confusing start to just get in.

The apartment is absolutely charming ! Thoughtfully put together and decorated. It merges olded day's timeless beauty with modern day comfort. Definitely in my top 5 !

Location was okay and close to the river and about 20 minute walk from the Basilica and Ponte Vecchio. Apart is large with two bathrooms so ideal for the 5 of us.

Aircon available in all rooms except kitchen so when cooking it was very very hot. Air on is so weak it could not cool apt and ended up with us all having very hot and restless nights sleep. Garage is so narrow I struggled to get the car (Kia Sportage) in and damaged the car on the way out. It certainly does not hold 4 cars. 4 motorcycles maybe. I booked this specifically for the secure garage. On reflection it would have better to park it on the street.
