About this apartment rental

The Bellariva apartment is at the ground floor of a beautiful flat in the city centre of Florence. It’s located in the south part of city centre of Florence, 100 metres away from the “Lungarno” (the beautiful street along the river Arno). The historic city centre is 1 km and half from the apartment: you can reach the historic city centre of Florence cycling along the river Arno within 5 minutes (4 bikes are available in the apartment for our guests), by foot (10 minutes walking), or by bus (The bus stop is within 100 metres from the apartment). If you’ll arrive by car you’ll have a private off street parking area for your car closed by an electric gate. The apartment is charming and elegant. The 3 bedrooms are very cosy and a great deal of attention to details was paid. The apartment has 3 double bedrooms, one living room with DVD Player and a LCD TV, one independent fully equipped kitchen, two fully bathrooms. One of the three double bedroom is very big and we can added easily one single bed. All the three bedrooms are air-conditioned and there is a WiFi ADSL internet in all the rooms.

Everything was perfect at the property - comfortable rooms and a large living room with a nice kitchen and patio out back. It's about a 25 minute bus trip to the downtown locations. Figuring out the buses in Florence was a little challenging for a Canadian unfamiliar with Florence, but the property itself was in a very nice neighbourhood - a short walk to a couple of small restaurants and a grocery store.

This place was wonderful very clean, spacious. If you want to be closer to Florence I would suggest staying closer it was a walk but found a wonderful place for breakfast on the way. The beds were very hard in case this will bother you but we were so tired at the end of the day it didn’t bother us. Parking is a plus and owner was very kind. If we visit again and don’t mind the walk we will stay here again there is also no dryer should you want one

The apartment is spacious and well appointed. The self check in was very smooth. The location worked well for us as it was more of a neighborhood than a tourist area. the only consideration would be that we did hear the neighbors (above and to the side) and the street traffic.

We (6 people) stayed in the appartment in august 2023. The appartment has 3 full-size bedrooms with quite comfortable beds. Apartment was clean and nice at check-in. Check-in was smooth with keys in key-box. Appartment is situated 20-30 minutes walk from the historical centre so location is spot-on to explore the city. There are restaurants, caffes, gelateria, grocery shops - all in walk distance. There is also a private parking place which is quite useful as there is no free parking in Firenze. I would definetely reccomend the property!

The first floor apartment was perfect for our elderly parents traveling with us. The hosts were most personable and easy to connect with using What's App for the seamless check in procedure to to general inquires with had during our stay. The beds were comfy and rooms spacious. The terrace was welcoming to enjoy the cooler mornings and evenings during our stay in the August heat. The kitchen and dining areas were equipped with all basic amenities - we even got to enjoy a "home cooked Italian dinner" one evening. The location was perfect to use local transit (Bus 14 rocks!) one does not need a car to experience Firenze and all the local sights. Easy access to two Trenitalia train stations to coordinate our days to explore the surrounding areas, such as Pisa. Overall. this property was beyond exceptional. Would highly recommend this apartment especially for larger families or groups of friends. Grazie mille to our phenomenal hosts! :)

We stayed in Florence for 6 nights our stay was very comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed and close to grocery store and bus stop. We checked in late around 11 pm and the check in process was very easy. The train station is about 20 min walk, not hard at all. From here we visited Venice, Pisa and Cinque Terre by taking the train. Our overall stay was pleasant and would use again if needed. Thank you !

The apartment is well located close to the river, within walking distance of the city centre. Catching the bus is very easy and quick if walking is not your preference. The check-in process was seamless and the offstreet parking a huge bonus. There are excellent grocery stores close by making it easy to prepare your own meals. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the apartment. The only minor point is that the mattresses in the third bedroom were particularly hard. This was really the only minor consideration in what is overall a fantastic and highly recommended apartment.

The apartment is tastefully decorated in very good condition, very clean, spacious and has all the amenities you would need. The linen and towels provided were clean and good quality. Air conditioning very necessary during our stay in July. We made use of the private parking but there is a bus stop outside the apartment which takes you in to the centre of Florence in 15 minutes. Supermarket, bakery and restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment. No improvements necessary and would happily stay there again.

The apartment is situated a 20 minute bus ride or 30 ish minute walk from the centre of Florence. It is spacious and extremely comfortable with everything you could need with the added bonus of outside space. Whilst we did not use them, there are 4 bikes for guests to use if they like. Not only was this a beautiful apartment in great neighborhood in Florence, right at a bus stop, with neighborhood shops, pastcierrias, and a Coop Mercado! The 1st floor (american) apartment was great for the three of us (Mia moglie, sua sorrella e mio) with bikes, a outside clothes drying area, and 3 very beautiful and very comfortable beds. The B. Family (all 3 brothers) were extremely helpful and accommodating. Marco even took us (for a very reasonable price) to Ciusure outside Siena, for an all day visit to a local artichoke Festival. I can't imagine staying in a better place with a better family.

A well maintained, comfortable apartment close to local amenities and a short bus ride from central Florence. The apartment was well decorated and had all the facilities we needed for a family of 6 on our first visit to Italy, including access to secure parking on the occasion we rented a car and explored further afield. The owners were fantastic and extremely helpful so I have no hesitation n recommending this apartment.

An amazing apartment in a good position. We were 8 people, but it was a really confortable stay. The apartment is very clean, spacious and full furnished. In a few minutes you're in the centre of Florence and you also have some shops and a market just at a walk from home. The owner is really kind and helpfull. Our stay in this spacious apartment was great! It is very large and clean with 2 full bathrooms! It is very convenient to the city of Florence and the bus stop! We loved having all the room, using the washing machine (we were in Italy for a month) and relaxing in our apartment after a long day of sightseeing in Florence! We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful apartment last month. The apartment is beautifully decorated, is very spacious, clean and well-maintained. It was very nice to also enjoy the small patio after a long day of walking in Florence. The owner, Alessandro, was very helpful responding quickly to our emails before our arrival. Once we got there, Enrico, his brother, was waiting for us at the property. He is very nice and attentive. He took his time to explain everything we needed to know about our rental. We are two couples of two generations. The Apt was clean, good location, enough space and with good facilities. We had a good time there. Thank you! Plus: 1. Owners were very nice, friendly, helpful and answered our questions promptly before our arrival and also during our stay. 2. The apt was clean and you had what you might need. 3. taking bus to/back from downtown was very convenient. 4. a free Secure parking nearby was really a plus! 5. The best ice cream shop we have ever had was just nearby. 6. The apt was quiet even it was on the ground floor because of the good windows which isolated the noise very well. Minus: 1. Bikes need maintenance. However, we didn't take the bikes to downtown after we saw the bikes' conditions in downtown. It's better to leave the bikes at home. 2. Mosquito net would be nice. We had to decide to get fresh air or mosquitos when we opened the windows. The owners provided us with the anti-Mosquito devices. These also helped. Mosquito could be the issue only in the summer. 3. Cleanness of the dishes and cutlery. It depends on your luck whether the previous renters paid attention to the cleanness or not. Anyway, this didn't bother us that much. We just put what we would need into the dishwasher and wash them before we used. As for the coffee maker and water cooker, we really had to clean them thoroughly before we used them. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

This is a delightful apartment with wifi, air conditioning, hair dryers etc. There is free secure parking a five minute walk away. It is very easy to reach the centre of Firenza, either by bus, bicycle or walking. The local shops provide most things that one would need for self catering. Alessandro and Enrico were very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Alessandro responded quickly to all emails, and Enrico was very attentive while we were in Italy. The apartment is clean w/plenty of room. We recommend the gelateria, Sangelato located around the corner at via Minghetti 17R. The gelato was amazing & the two proprietors were great neighbors that provided lots of assistance w/local tips and recommendations. We also recommend the Enoteca (wine store) around the corner on Via Aretina; very good wine & beer at reasonable prices. You can buy your bus tickets at the little coffee shop around the corner on Via Giovanni Lanza, and the 14 bus that takes you to the city stops right in front. Two of the bicycles are good to ride, the other two bikes need some attention. Wifi was excellent and reliable. The only negative to the apartment was the street noise that could get loud at 5 am as business traffic started, but not a problem if windows are shut.

The appartment was in a condition above our expectations, very clean and nicely arranged. Also it is well equipped and pleasantly decorated. Enrico was very clear on his explanations on the functional details. We were a family of five persons, and were comfortably installed for a week. We were pleasantly surprized how perfect this apt was. Everything was new, kept very clean, plenty of room. Everything you could need was available. Was pleased with the WiFi too. There were a couple of great bakeries and cafes nearby. Only obstacle was the distance to downtown, but ok if you want to enjoy the local neighborhood. Owners were very nice and easy to get ahold of when needed.
