Hot tub and washing machine great after nearly a week on the motorbike, great cooking facilities and bathroom. Host really responsive and helpful

Unfortunatly we're of an age where pulling down the bed and havimg to climb over to get to tooiet wasn't to easy however we did have a good laugh about it

It was a very nice and cozy room. One can feel straightaway, that the owners took time and effort to decorate it. Also it had a plethora of appliances which I don't remember ever seen in any hotel. I really appreciated that. The sofa/bed was very comfy, heating worked really well, so I had a very restful sleep in there. But... other things completely spoiled all good impressions from the room, unfortunately.

The first issue was the available space. There is hardly 5 sq. meters in the whole room in-between furniture, especially with the sofa unfold completely blocking the room entrance/exit. Throughout my short stay I had a constant feeling that everything around me in the room is overcomplicated, from searching for a 'magic' cord in the sofa to pull in order to unfold it, to door locks which were locked by pulling the handle up and turning its key. I relate it to a tiring 13-hours-long travel on a train that I had the day I came and a quite busy following day. But the feeling that half of the room environment is challenging your puzzle-solving skills was with me during the whole stay. To start with, after my booking was confirmed I received written instructions (literally, containing a few dozen paragraphs) on how to transform a sofa into a bedspace, how to switch on a shower, how to prepare for using a tub and, probably, something else as well. Why just not provide some visual guidance? E.g. a drawing guiding 'pull this and that, use these levers' etc. The situation with a shower that was supposed to be switched on by pulling a switch cord drove me crazy in particular. I mean, the water heater seemed to be working properly, as a kitchen sink tap had hot water. You can switch on the fan in the bathroom by a normal switch on the wall. But to use a shower you need to pull the bloody cord! I tried my best pulling it, but it won't switch anything. The heater in the shower room still didn't react to pressing any buttons. And with reminders in the aforementioned instructions that one would be charged for damaging the interior or furniture by pulling something wrong way, I eventually gave up. It was almost midnight when I arrived, so I decided to not wake up the owners.
