Great stay - warm and comfortable and professionally presented

This is surely a joke!

We walked in to the property and we walked straight back out.We then booked in to a hotel for the night.l phoned the owners and spoke to his wife who said that we were also too late to cancel the property even though we had just arrived off a bus from lnverurie and lnverness. And she also said that we would not get our money back.lt was a wasted journey for both my wife and l.very disappointed!

The Apartment.lt needs a face lift.lt is very tired. I am very surprised that booking.com has this property on its portfolio.lt needs to inspect ASAP.. We also were not happy with the area.we would not have felt safe at all! The area looked like an industrial site.

Perfect apartment

Perfect apartment, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Perfect management. I booked 15 minutes before arriving because I had a reservation somewhere else that had turned out to be terrible. Despite the very short notice, I found everything perfect. Thank you so much.

Lovely apartment in the centre of Wick

Apartment was located close to the centre of Wick, keys were collected from a safe box at the door which was good as we were arriving late. Apartment was nice with lovely living room and kitchen area with separate bedroom.

Shower wasnt great and temperature controls were hard

Ok, handy for town centre and distillery but felt a bit cheaply done compared to other places we’ve stayed

Good location for town centre and distillery. Easy parking on road outside. Flat was well equipped if you want to eat in but also only a few mins walk to eat out.

Uncomfortable settees and soft bed. Also looked a little unfinished e.g. only one bedside lamp, no lamps in sitting room and no pictures or ornaments. Not good instructions on turning on hot water and switch was not easily visible Strange suede feel bedding

Okay for one night but investment is required

It was useful to have a washing machine, the heating was good and the flat is a decent size. For a one night stay it’s ok, but it’s looking very tired and in need of a refurb. The sofas were uncomfortable, felt like you were sitting on the floor. Despite other reviews to the contrary the bed was comfortable & we had a good nights sleep. The shower cubicle is a little small though

The area felt neglected and in need of rejuvenation. There was very little open & we found only one place to eat out

A convenient little flat close to the harbour and within walking distance to the town centre of Wick

The location of the property was just right for us, being fairly central and close to the harbour. The layout of the flat was ideal - not too large and not cramped either with plenty of room to move around. Most of the furnishings were of a good standard and functional apart from the brown sofa which was not supportive or comfortable, which was probably due to the inner springs being damaged or worn out. I would recommend replacing this sofa as it no longer seems to be fit for purpose. I liked the level of communication from the host - informative and welcoming without being too intrusive.

The brown sofa (see above). The oven trays were not clean. The toilet seat was loose. I would have preferred an alternative heating source to the storage heaters as we were only staying overnight. The temperature dropped a little during the evening and we could have done with using a small electric heater for about 20 - 30 minutes to just take the chill off the air.

Perfect place if you want to rest for further trip.

I received clear information how to get the key. I had no problem at all. The flat had everything what we needed during our stay. Quite place and very comfy bed. Very close to the centre. Decent price. We were just one night so had no time to see everything in the town but we managed to see the ruins of two castles so our stay was more interesting. Just the weather was poor but that's nothing regarding flat.

Poor Internet connection: in our phone O2 network and by host access. That second one was a bit better.

Cleanliness was ok. Location is good. Parking just in front.

Everything is clearly getting on in years. The sofa is so worn out that it can only be thrown away. The shower can't even hold the temperature for 5 seconds. It's either too hot or too cold. Strange musty smell. Bed unstable and squeaks with every movement. Ceiling light is bright and white like at the dentist and makes everything uncomfortable Suitable for one night at most.

Flat was perfect other than the bed. It squeaked every time we moved. It was that bad that I recorded it. Could not fault the flat for any other reason.

A great place to stay in the town.

I liked the fact it was close to all the local amenities including the train station. The owner was great with communication and I had no issues getting there or entering this property. A self contained flat with everything you need for your stay I would highly recommend and definitely come back if in the area. This place was huge and great to see a great price for this unlike some other properties. Keep up the good work.

We had a nice stay in Wick in a comfortable flat.

Thr flat is situated at the harbour, an easy distance to walk into town.

The flat has storage heaters, one was on on our arrival at bottom of stairs, the 2 in the seating area upstairs were turned off and there were no instructions on how to work them if it was cold, we were there early March, a portable heater would have been handy. There is a convector wall heater in the bedroom , so that could be turned on before going to bed so that room was warm. Other than that it is a lovely flat.
