Comfy bed, large TV, reliable WiFi, ideal location to the town, lounge really comfortable, heating ideal and use of the washing machine. Location to the NC500 was perfect.

Ideal stop for us on the NC500 , well equipped, stopover where one could relax , great communication from the owner (Bev) , plenty of space gallons of hot water , nothing more needed
Some of the heating was a little unclear in its operation and I wonder the timers had been adjusted by other visitors with reluctance I reset all fine ,not a criticism but so much hot water perhaps the same people interfered with the operation of the hot water

Spacious clean and well appointed, perfect for our needs.

Location was easy walking distance to old town. Quiet street. Comfortable beds, clean house. Clear instructions to check in. Loved being able to wash some clothes.
There was no washing powder, but we did have every other cleaning product.
A clothes dryer or more drying racks would be helpful, especially for families.
Lovely to have the heaters on a timer to make the home cozy and warm on arrival, but no so much on an already hot day.

Well situated, nice quiet area
Only minor issues,Wi-Fi password was difficult to read( we are older) maybe write it somewhere and house name needs to be made more visible.

Clean, modern, easy access to shops, restaurants and the harbour. Good view when the sun was out, warm and cosy when the storm arrived..
Nothing, but the local council could fix the potholes!

Great value. Lovely clean property with good facilities. Plenty of space for 4 people.
Blinds in bedroom let in light, adding curtains would improve this. Only 1 pillow per person?

This was a really nice house that was ideal for us to stay in as a stopover on our visit to the Orkney Islands. Location was perfect.
Had a little trouble getting in to the property but a call to the host told us where we were going wrong.

A good stop off on the NC 500, clean property.
One member of our party ran a bath and used all the hot water , we struggled to boost the water after that.

The location was well located along the NC500 route. There was a huge Tesco Superstore that was a 5 min drive away. Food options were also about a 2-5 min drive away (the kebab place was fantastic). We had the entire house and it came with 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, 1 bathroom, and a full kitchen. The house was extremely spacious for three people and very clean. There was no dust either. It was decorated tastefully and modern. There’s a driveway that’s big enough for one car, but also what looks like free street parking if you have more than one vehicle. There’s a grass backyard, but note that there’s nowhere to sit in the yard. Unlike other reviews, we found the house was nicely warm when we arrived and it remained a good temperature the whole night.
The accommodation was also a great price and great value for your money!
Like others have mentioned, the facilities were faulty and need improvement. The worst was the shower drain, which was EXTREMELY clogged. You couldn’t run the shower for more than 2-3 minutes before the water spilled over the lip of the shower floor and onto the hardwood. The shower sink also drained slowly, but it was less of an issue there because the sink can hold more water. The bathroom light was VERY dim. As in, it might as well not be on, it was so dark. It would also flicker and jump brighter or dimmer suddenly, which was very startling. Also, note that there is NO SHAMPOO or BODY WASH. Laundry detergent was missing even though the host insisted it was there.
I initially had great correspondence with Beverly, the host, and she responded quickly. However, once I started mentioning the faulty facilities above, she stopped replying to me altogether.

The house was really clean and it had everything we needed. The rooms and bathroom were spacious in general. The kitchen works well and it had everything we needed. The living space is comfy and it has a smart TV and wifi working well. You can park inside the property.
The heating wasn't on when we came in, so it took some hours until we manage to warm up the house as it was 0 degrees outside.

N/A and good
No hooks to hang outdoor clothes, no hooks or shelving in the bathroom.
We did not have the heating on at all but the timers on the bedroom heaters were set to the wrong times. I corrected them before leaving.
Fron guttering at corner of house broken and gushing water on to the path.
No baking tray.

The home itself is located in a quite location and the vuew is great from the garden too. The host Beverley is an absolute gem couldn't help enough and provided all the info and more prior and during my arrival too. The home itslef is very clean and has a nice boutique feel quite lot of attention to detail has gone into the decor. I would highly recommend and will be staying there myself.
There could be 2 little changes made but nothing major.
1. A hook behind the bathroom door to hand a towel would be great.
2. The hot water supply is too hot not sure if there is an option to change the temperature. The hot water tap once switched on in the bathroom starts off great but quickly turns into scolding hot.

Great little place, very well equipped and quiet and close to the centre of Wick with off-street parking. But beware, the fridge and freezer were TINY. We had stocked up with groceries for a few days and it was very tricky fitting the cold stuff in.
A towel rail in the bathroom would have been good - there was nowhere to hang our towels to dry. Plus the towels were really quite scratchy. The tiny fridge.

Lovely clean property, we really enjoyed our stay here.
No where to hang towels in the bathroom. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, we had to look for it in the cleaning closet.

Location was good. The bungalow had everything we expected.
It was just like home from home.
There wasn’t anything to dislike about the property.
Location very good but sad to see how run down wick is.

very comfortable and spacious. great for a family because you can put the kids to bed in a separate room. the manager is super informative and responsive. good location to spring to everything in NE Scotland. absolute recommendation from our family!
I wish there were hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. also hooks in the front to hang jackets.
