Great apartment in v good location

Location excellent, v close to the old part of town with restaurants/ cafes. Also v easy walk to all the main sights/ sites. Very generously equipped flat - everything you would need was there, in quantity. V useful to have a washing machine as we were there for 6 nights - great to do a load. Loved the terrace, ate meals there often. Overall an excellent stay

Greatest accommodation ever

We liked absolutely everything. The accommodation is litle piece of art. Everything is nicely arranged with everything needed. Close to Carn town centre as well,lots of restaurants around. But again, I don't have enough words to describe how beautiful the flat is:the colours, the furniture, amazing. Aurelian is a very nice host, an artist in how he arranged everything. P. S checking in it was very smooth and easy!

Near perfect!

Very cosy and clean appartement, we loved the interior style. The location was perfect! Clear communication with the host. When back in Caen, we will book again!

Near to castle, restaurants, buses, very good, a little noisy from nightclub, but didnt keep us awake

Charming old stone property, with a modern twist , particularly the swish bathroom, the only down side would be access for some people, flat is on first floor, with circular stone staircase, no handrail, we both managed with suitcases etc, I'm 69years, but if you had mobility problems, you might look elsewhere,.

Great central location.

Apartment was in a great central location. Bed was really comfortable, living area spacious and plenty of room. Shower was great. Parking nearby at a good price. Walkable to many attractions and also cafes and bars. No air con and no fan . A fan would be a bonus . Please get one. Windows let in some breeze however, we needed to close windows.

Right across the lane is a nightclub. Open midnight to seven am. If you like sleeping in these hours, forget it. We booked Monday and Tuesday night. Saw the reviews but thought these were pretty safe weeknights. Oh, no. At midnight,Monday , we were woken by the street noise. The nightclub party got going. Closed all the windows to keep out the noise but then no breeze. Still noisy and now hot as well. Having a fan would have made an amazing difference. Tuesday night, no nightclub. Check out Le Depot to make sure the nightclub hours prior to booking, unless you like nightclubbing. If so , this is the place to be.

Loved staying here for a few days, warmly recommended.

Everything! Comfortable large bed, good shower, practical kitchen with good dining space, cosy sitting area and a pleasant outdoor space. Beautifully decorated, speciose and well equipped. Excellent location.

Next door noisy night club, meant we had to sleep with the windows shut. A small price to pay for being in such central location.

Ingeniös saniertes vielhundertjähriges Haus mit modernem Inneren

Lage sehr zentral, 3 Minuten und man ist am Bus zum Strand in Oistreham. Tolle Sanierung, man sieht originale Balken und die Caen-typischen Natursteine. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

Wenig Aussicht, es ist eine Innenstadtlage und da geht das ja kaum. Durch diesen Umstand aber sehr gemütlich und wahrscheinlich im Sommer auch kühl.

Super gute Unterkunft, mit rücksichtslosen Nachbarn

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön eingerichtet, hatte alles was man braucht, und vom Prinzip her in einer sehr guten Lage.

Die Unterkunft und die Zuständige Person kann nichts dafür.. aber gegenüber dem Haus ist ein Lokal dass nachts um 23h, und bis 7h morgens öffnet. Die Gäste sind die ganze Nacht draußen auf der Straße laut.. auch bei geschlossenen Fenster kann man nicht schlafen..es sei denn man ist dem gegenüber unempfindlich.

Appartement très cosy, très bien équipé et fonctionnel. Literie de qualité. Un grand plus, le patio !! Très bien situé pour visiter Caen à pieds.

La rue peut-être bruyante le soir en week end en raison de la proximité d'un bar d'ambiance (qui est super bien !) et d'une discothèque

Très beau moment

Le lieu était extrêmement agréable, bien situé, un petit cocon très bien décoré et fait pour qu'on s'y sente bien. Logement spacieux, très beau patio, une belle cuisine bien équipé, un lit hyper confortable, pièce lumineuse, un petit salon très cocooning, belle salle de bain avec une grande douche, très bel endroit pour un week-end hors du temps. Proche de toute commodité, pas eu besoin de prendre la voiture pour faire des courses, se balader dans Caen où même trouver un restaurant. L'hôte a été compréhensif et très à l'écoute et répond très vite aux questions. Je le remercie encore d'ailleurs. Je recommande cet endroit à 100% si vous recherchez un lieu paisible.

Rummelig og flot lejlighed lige midt i byen

Jeg vil lægge ud med at sige, at jeg kunne lide alt her! Dog skal det tilføjes, at gangbesværede ikke bør booke her, dels på grund af spindeltrappe op til lejligheden og dels indvendige trapper til terrasse og badeafdeling. Lejligheden er rummelig, meget hyggelig og dekorativ, i stuen en bardisk (hvor værten havde sat en gave, en glimrende ½ fl. rødvin. Siddeafdeling og et fint åbent køkken, som er meget veludstyret - desuden en kapsel kaffemaskine. Bardisken er nyttig men der er også et rigtigt spisebord. Der er indvendig trappe op til aflukket terrasse med beplantning, bord og 4 stole. Der er tilsvarende indvendig trappe til toilet, vask og bruseafdeling - bag et forhæng også vaskemaskine.. Alt ialt en rigtig dejlig og hyggelig lejlighed, som man føler sig hjemme i. Der er noget langt fra togstationen til gengæld er man ved ankomsten lige i midten af byen; mere centralt kan det ikke blive.

Geweldig fijn appartement op steenworp afstand van gezellig centrum

Een heel mooi appartement op een fijne locatie in de stad. In het appartement zou ik zo kunnen wonen. Alles zit er in, van een wasmachine tot een oven. En daarnaast is het ook nog heel mooi. De accomodatie zit op 100 meter van een 10 tal restaurants maar je hebt in het appartement geen last van enige drukte buiten.

Als ik dan een klein ding mag noemen dan is dat het ventilatie systeem. Er zit een soort ventilatie systeem in het appartement dat soms aan gaat en soms uit staat. Dit systeem maakt een constant zoemend geluid alsof er iemand in de kamer naast je zijn haar aan het föhnen is. Toen ik er was heeft het systeem 75% van de tijd aangestaan, ook snachts,
