Tastefully restored barn conversions on small working farm finished to a high standard, Making a comfortable stay all year. The property will suit a family or a group of friends. Situated in the open countryside with things to do locally and also a close drive to York or Beverley with numerous tourist attractions, Minster, Yorvik Centre, Various museum including Railway museum and Castle museum. Open top bus rides and boat trips along with lots of bars and restaurants. Locally you have the Elvington Air museum, Allerthorpe water park and Gliding club at Pocklington along with various golf clubs in the area nearest being KP Club in Pocklington or The Oaks at Ellerton. On the foot of the Yorkshire wolds with lots of scenic drives.

Fab time had all round, property is clean and has everything you could need! Perfect for our weekend break, welcome pack super organised and informative, hosts are on site and super helpful, the brownies were delicious thank you Sue! Really impressed with all the little extras, cleaning supplies (DW tablets, loo roll, kitchen towel, MS cleaner) made our stay so much easier. We had a great time. Thanks again

Sue was a lovely host. The farm cottage was tidy, well-stocked, and spacious to accommodate our party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children). It worked well as a home base to go west into York or east to the North Sea shore. We would be happy to stay again.

We've just got back from Eastfield Farm and loved it. We were attending a friend's wedding at Bunny Hill farm a few miles away and wanted something different from a hotel. Our party was four aged 50+ couples. The farm is really well equipped with a nice kitchen and spacious living area. All bedrooms are nicely decorated and the three bathrooms good too. The property is on a working farm, but is pretty remote so you'll have no issue with noise. Check in was easy - Sue, the host met us on arrival and gave us the keys, and we just handed them back on departure - simples. Would highly recommend for a weekend away. The pictures on Vrbo don't actually do it justice. Well worth a visit

Beautiful, spacious, clean and well kept cottage. Host Sue welcomed us on arrival to check we had everything we needed and even left us a welcome pack of milk, bread etc to get us started off. Good base for visiting York and surrounding attractions.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a family wedding nearby. There were 4 couples - all family - the space was great with a good choice of bedrooms and bathroom facilities. We would all recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in this area. Thank you for the cake as well Sue.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the owl cottage. The owner Sue, was very welcoming, communicative and always at hand. The cottage itself was very clean, welcoming and overall, a great place to stay containing all that was needed and more. We also enjoyed the company of the farm's pet animals! Thank you to Sue for the freshly baked brownies and other additionals, they were much appreciated!

This is the second time visiting Owl cottage and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Accommodation is clean and welcoming. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything you could need to prepare large family meals. The touches on arrival such as milk and home made cakes were lovely. Everyone in the party had a great stay.

This was our second time, this time with a smaller group. We love the proximity to an area that we love and is part of our family history. The property is very comfortable and we felt relaxed from moment one, helped by the cup cakes on arrival. Thanks Sue

This lovely house was just what it said on the tin. It was large, well equipped and very clean when we arrived. The owners left us milk, orange, butter,bread , ham, milk and eggs for when we arrived which was unexpected but lovely. We had ordered afternoon tea and cookies which were Devine and just what we needed on our arrival. The owners were very welcoming on our arrival and then didn’t bother us unless we asked them for help/advice. I would really recommend a stay here. Thanks again for everything

We had such a lovely stay at Sue’s cottage. The property was beautifully furnished and was one of the most well-equipped holiday houses I have stayed in. The kids loved being on the farm and visiting the pigs and alpacas each day. They also loved the swing ball and big box of outdoor toys in the courtyard. Overall, a wonderful holiday.
