We liked the location of the place and we enjoy a bit of a walk to explore places away from the tourist tracks, which worked out great. It was easy to find to the supermarket and the kitchen was well equipped to do our own cooking. The folder in the house had everything well described and the host was super helpful in helping us to organise a taxi as we only used wifi during our stay.
It was a bi sad that the swimming pool was under maintenance and could not be used.

Spacious with laundry facilities
Difficult to find at night though given detailed instructions. Couldn’t get hot water later at night. Dirty wall outside marring the view. No fly screens.

The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean
The air conditioning was insufficient. The apartment was in a very rundown building. I wouldn't choose the location again. Although it was within walking distance of a shopping centre, I would have preferred to stay in the downtown core of Papeete closer to the cruise port.
