It was quite a thrill to find out it had a pool on the 7th floor with amazing views of the Papeete mountains! It also had a balcony with a clothes line. With the EasyMart nearby it was easy to buy ready made food to cook in the microwave with a bakery just around the corner! We were just 10 mins to the wharf. Best of all was the very likeable owner Carlos who we could hire for taxi runs and also a day trip @the Island which we really enjoyed.
The cutlery and crockery was a bit basic. I also pointed out a blanket would have been nice too! As would a dish towel!

Walking distance to main shopping centre.
Accommodation easy to access with luggage.
Carlos picked us up from airport, very knowledgeable and helpful explaining a bit about the area, shopping and recommended places to eat out.

Carlos was a great host and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one.
The room is fairly rustic, but for the price it was good. The kitchen has minimal supplies, so you will need to assess upon arrival and purchase items that you need for a longer stay. We could have used a few more towels and sheets for single beds.

Carlos was AMAZING 10/10 he picked me up at the airport, showed me where places were in relation to the apartment and was very flexible on timing to drop me back at the airport ( charge for drop off) there is a decent supermarket around the corner and a 5-10 min walk to the harbour area
It was a bit grim like student housing. The building was poorly lit and the pool on the roof was out of order. ( no chairs up there either) Carlos suggested only walking the main road back to the apartment after dark although I didn’t feel unsafe as a solo female
