Lovely 2 Bedroom Garden Flat in trendy West End

Well equipped, no major issues, really.

Bed comfort level is not very good. They made all of our backs and hips hurt. Unfortunate, because everything else was great. Some more detailed info about parking for those staying with a car would be very helpful. We finally found a car park close by where we could use Ringo, but being from the states and trying to figure all of that out on the fly was stressful.

Lovely accommodation; well decorated and furnished.

The overall interior design and furnishings of this flat were fantastic. Very Scandinavian design. The kitchen was nice with butcher block counter top and wonderful designer counter top appliances (Paul Hobbs) and fancy espresso machine (Delonghi). The location in the West End of Glasgow was very convenient to access local pubs and restaurants. There is even a Michelin 1-star restaurant (UNALOME) within a 5 minute walk. The famed Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum was a mere 8 minute walk.

The under the counter dishwasher did not work. In fact, there was standing water in the basin of the dishwasher that was pretty rank...smelly, moldy. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Therefore, all of the steamy humid air from showers was not able to be vented to the outside. This resulted in towels that were still damp after several days. Of the 4 windows in the flat, only 2 were able to be opened....bedroom and kitchen. It was impossible to get a cross flow of air through the flat. There was a washing machine but no dryer. Without the ability to get a breeze flowing through the flat, or even turn on the radiators temporarily to dry out clothes, we had to find a local laudromat.
