Nice appartment, but damage bond process detracted from the experience

Location

The request for deposit was not clear at the time of booking and had to be done just prior to arrival. For overseas visitors bank deposits are difficult and expensive; and the £250 damage bond felt excessive

Great stay!

Great location - so close to public transport options but also a decent walk into town. Loads to do around the area, Kelvingrove Art Gallery is right around the corner, the Brunch Club is SO good and 2 seconds away. Loads of parking around & it wasn't hard to get a space. The flat was an ideal space, rooms are a great size, clean & comfortable! The owners were really responsive and super helpful.

Well located, spacious gem

The location is excellent with lots of quirky bars and restaurants within walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment bedrooms are spacious with great natural light.

A full length mirror in the apartment would be a bonus. Also there is a fault in the en suite bathroom with the tap which only produces hot water which was a bit odd.

WONDERFUL WEST END FLAT

Lovely flat a real home from home .Comfortable living area and kitchen combined with everything you will require for a comfortable stay .2 lovely bedrooms with lovely comfy beds and well appointed rooms.Great en suite and separate bathroom .Location was excellent right in the heart of the fabulous West end.Hosts communication abd check in -out instructions were brilliant and so very helpful with any queries we had.A wonderful experience overall thank you .Woukd definitely return.

Lovely bright flat, sparkling clean.. Very warm . Spacious bedrooms. Good communication with hosts.

Nice stay central location

Gas heating and hot water never worked and we had no hot water or heating or 3 hrs . Contacted owner but had no reply till morning. Other than that slight let down , flat twas good

A clean, cosy and well equipped apartment in a great location with very helpful hosts!

Great location close to Kelvin Grove museum and for getting into the centre of Glasgow by bus. Having a parking spot was a real bonus. Also having made good time on our journey, we were able to request to go into the property a little earlier which was much appreciated.

It's a good place for a short stay.

It's a nice place to crash for the night and the location was perfect for what we needed.

The apartment is not designed practically to hang out in, it's mainly for crashing at night (which is fine if you're planning to be out most of the time during your stay). The living room/kitchen area is small and there isn't a table to sit at for dinner, its missing some basic things such as a coat rack and the heater didn't work.

Nice two bedroom, two bathroom flat with very attentive host

Location was great for us, very close to the university. Hosts were very quick to respond to any queries (only one set of keys was provided initially which would have been a problem, but the host brought along a second set that evening). Having two bathrooms was very useful. TVs in all rooms (though kitchen one is too high on the wall to watch comfortably sitting down). Comfortable sofa.

A couple of things needed fixing, but the host assured me they would be dealt with immediately. There's not really a dining table, only a small table and two high stools, so not great if more than 2 people (and not really comfortable for 2 people) want to eat properly there. Providing shower gel would be a nice addition. Awkward positioning of some light switches.

A really comfortable house.

The hosts are very welcoming. The house is exceptionally neat and tidy. The house is large. The house is fully furnished.

The water boiler in the house makes a loud and harsh noise. When taking a bath, water from the bath may leak into a neighbour's home. But these issues are taken very seriously by the hosts and I hope that they will all be resolved soon.

Lovely hosts!

Clean and quiet with lovely hosts! On the day of checkout, we had late plans, so we spent the day at Kelvingrove and were able to store our luggage there all day for two euro.

It is a third floor apartment, if that is a concern. It was also our first time to Glasgow and part of me wishes we had stayed closer to the city center.

The flat was the ideal size in the ideal location and provided a comfortable base for our stay.

This was a self-catering apartment so breakfast was not included in the arrangement. We chose to take breakfast in a cafe close by which was really excellent. The location was lively with plenty choice of bars and restaurants and close to Glasgow's highly regarded Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

We had no need to use the kitchen but noted that there was no cafetiere for making coffee and felt that this was an omission. A soap dispenser was provided on the wash-hand basins but no shower gel was available and we felt that this was also an omission.

We had such a nice stay at this apartment. A lot more spacious than first anticipated from the pictures. Great location, great hosts, will definitely be staying here again and will be recommending to friends.
