Freezing cold in a winter, no close by car park

The host seems a nice person and was really helpful when we couldn't find anywhere to park and get in (we've been informed its the wrong keybox than it actually was). Flat was OK, clean enough and perfect location to where we needed it, about 10 mins walk from Hydro.

It was freezing! It was only 1-2C outside when we arrived and heating was completely off. We switched radiator on straight away hoping by the time we're back from concert will be nice and cosy but it wasn't. We got back at night and flat was still very cold. Heaters were working all the time but they are clearly not enough for this flat and bathroom doesn't even have any radiators so we were shaking getting into the bath. There's only one small radiator for the whole of living room + kitchen area. It would be OK in a summer but definitely not in a winter. You could feel the draft coming through the windows. We had to get to bed in hoodies and in the morning we didn't even stay for breakfast or a cup of coffee, we wanted to get out and go somewhere warm. We travel a lot all over the world and we've been to really cold countries but never experienced it. I have contacted host in a morning before living the review but we've been replied with 'I didn't have anyone complaining it's cold, I'll check today if radiators work ok'. They do work but are not big enough for the flat so if you're planing to come in a winter maybe find somewhere else. There's also no direct parking you could leave the car for the whole stay through the week (we came tue-wed). On the street it's max 3h with £1.20 per 15mins, 8am-6pm, mon-fri. Closest car park for the whole day stay is Hydro whats a nightmare with luggage or mobility issues! I know it's a city centre but listing states there's car park nearby for £1.50 per hour, its a lie.

Totally unsuitable for four people; we left but they kept our money. We were cheated!

The host was quick to respond to our messages, unlike Booking.com. He contacted us beforehand to say there had been a mixup with Booking.com and his friend was using the apartment for the last night, and arranged to move us to a hotel for that night. In the end, we had to stay somewhere else the whole time, because the apartment was too small for four people. While the host didn't make it right, he was at least communicative.

The apartment was listed as accommodating four people, but was totally unsuitable for a family of four. The sofa bed, which could allegedly sleep two adults, was too narrow even for the two pillows (and required moving a glass table just to open it). We told the host immediately, and left to find a suitable place to stay. Even though we didn't stay a single night (because the apartment was not as described), the host refused to give us a refund, charging us for a full 10-night stay. To add insult to injury, the apartment was never available for the tenth night, but we were not even refunded for that night. In addition to being very small, the apartment was not secure: the only window from the bedroom (which was stifling hot with the windows closed) opened onto an exterior hallway of the apartment complex.

It was close to the ovo hydro where we were attending a gig. It had all the amenities we needed.

The location was perfect,seen all the Sugababes fans coming out of the hydro,right by argyle street Lidl and Mac Donald’s about 100m,balcony with a lot of people watching,would stay again👍

As advertised, lovely clean flat in great location. Good clear communication from owner. I was attending a show at the OVO with my grown up son, the flat was ideal for 1 night stay, number of restaurants and bars within 5 minutes and approx 10 minute walk to OVO.

Great location , good size, well equipped, little bit chilly due to cold weather . Free overnight parking till 8am then McDonald's or Lidl next door for one hour while you pack!

Awesome

I adore the setting. Everything you need was provided before you arrived at the hotel because it is so well-kept. Finding the key and obtaining the code posed the only difficulty. Everything in the email was self-explanatory; it was only me who didn't take the time to read it carefully. My kids didn't want to go back home, but I must admit that I enjoy the house. I'll return the next year, thanks David

Fantastic stay, highly recommend.

Brilliant apartment in the heart of the West End. Perfectly clean and very well equipped with all the mod cons, lovely bathroom and shower, extremely comfortable bed. Quiet and felt very secure. Host was very good at communicating and made sure we had everything we needed.

Parking is only free after 6pm/weekends (which we knew in advance) but plenty of spaces and decent prices for peak times.

The bedroom was at the back of the property so at least that was quiet

The flat was of poor quality- a start up flat in a noisy area . Surrounded by busy roads and McDonalads opposite. The windows were single glazed so offered no soundproofing. The flat itself was in need of some refurbishment and better quality furniture. The TV had 3 remote controls but no instructions on how to use it.

Lovely little flat in Finnieston

The flat was in the up and coming neighborhood of Finnieston. Many good restaurants within walking distance it is possible to walk into the city center or take short but ride. The flat was well decorated and the beds were comfortable and I had good communication with the hosts Would recommend staying here.
