Happy Haven Home, West End - Pass the Keys

Had all the basic amenities, shower gel provided, comfortable, clean and convenient for a couple of nights with 5 people. Kitchen facilities were good.

Parking was not described accurately, noted on-street parking locally, however the maximum stay was 3 hours. When we called to query if there was a parking permit for guests, they just suggested that we move the car every 3 hours. I ended up finding long-stay paid parking elsewhere in the city for the duration of the trip, this wasn’t ideal as it was around £30, not secure and a 15-20min walk away. Wi-Fi and TV didn’t work. One of the bedrooms has an external door which was unlocked when we arrived, allowing for potential entry from the outside.

Lovely location near public transportation, the University of Glasgow, the Botanical Gardens and Kelvingrove. We were a multi-generation family of two grandparents, two parents, a young child and a baby that stayed 8 nights. The flat worked very well for us.

I liked the temperature of the accommodation; it was a welcome break from the heatwave outside. The provided soap, shampoo and biscuits were a nice welcome surprise. Thanks for also providing a first aid kit. We liked the easy access to the subway for exploring Glasgow.

The external door in the second bedroom did not have a curtain/blind for the top window and let the sun in early in the morning. There was no chest of drawers or wardrobe apart from a single freestanding rail.

The location was amazing as we were in Glasgow for a graduation at Glasgow university 😍

We hadn't thought out long stay parking as you can't park on the street during the day for more than 3 hrs
