Lovely and beautiful place

Location, comfortable place for one week or even more. Very beautiful and new apartment. There’s a Carrefour on the corner, a pharmacy and a bus stop in front of the building. Brussels-Luxembourg train station which leads to Zaventeem Airport is two stops from the property.

When I arrived there was a different code and I couldn’t enter the property but once I contacted the administrator he/ she immediately sent me another code. I don’t have complaints at all. Once I entered the property there was a mini box of chocolate, snacks, water and soda waiting for me. And the table was beautifully set up. I strongly recommend the place ( however the stairs are a big challenge).

Cosy space for an easy Brussels stay

Warm cosy space with necessary amnetities for a short stay.

There were no tea mugs, only small espresso cups. The sofa and the rug could do with a clean.

Nice place but lots of stairs

The place is nice and cozy, and it was very clean. Snacks and drinks were provided and there were instructions on how to use the TV. Instructions on how to get in were provided well in advance. There's a grocery store right around the corner and lots of restaurants in the area. It's a 15-minute walk to the train or metro station. I asked to check-in early and was told it was possible. The room was ready and clean when I arrived, even though I was hours early and asked last minute.

The stairs. My apartment was on the 3rd floor, there are 63 steps to get to it. The staircase gets narrower at the top and it's hard to move with luggage. The bedroom is on another floor and only accessible by stairs that are more akin to a ladder. They are quite steep and awkward, especially going down. Not for people with back/knees/hips problems or a lot of luggage.

Great and fully furbished micro-appartment

Large and fully equipped mini-appartment includes a living room, kitchen, sleeping room. I particularily liked that there was some coke in the fridge and a coffee machine + coffee to help yourself.

My room was on floors 3+4 and the narrow staircases were challenging to climb with my large suitcase.

Good value for money

The apartment was fine for its price. It had some issues like a socket almost falling out and lack of bin bags, but overall it was nice and tidy. Nice staff, helped me with the code and locks.

The staff don't work late and there can be problems with opening the apartment door. Also, bad sound isolation – you will hear every noise in the hall. On the 1st night a person staying on the floor above us arrived late at night and was unable to open the apartment door. We were woken up at 1am by what seemed to be a very distressed woman and a couple of police workers, who couldn't help with the door and soon left. But the woman stayed up for an hour or so longer, shouting, throwing things around and trying to break the door open. While the hotel doesn't really bear the responsibility for the residents' actions, it has still caused a great deal of concern to everyone involved in that situation. Additionally, a couple of the hotel's emergency numbers listed on the door weren't working. So if something serious were to happen – you will probably be on your own with it.

happy with my stay here, would recommend

The flat was very clean and well-decorated. I did not use any kitchen equipment, but it seemed more than enough. There were also a very nice welcome snacks. I find these kind of small touches very considerate. It was easy to access the key. At first, I went to the wrong address but the property administrator was very helpful and it was easy to find the correct address. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I am in Brussels.

My only suggestions for improvement would be: 1) The mattress is comfortable but the bedframe creaks A LOT. It is impossible to make any movement without a very loud creaking sound (and I weigh less than 50 kg.). It put me on edge the entire night as I could not fall into deep sleep for fear that I would make a movement. I think it would be a very easy fix. 2) There is only one mirror, which is above the bathroom sink. It's not a big deal, but it does make it hard for people who would like to put on makeup. I also think everyone appreciates a full-length mirror to see if what they are wearing looks good.

Room for improvement

There was no key available in the box (contrary to check-in instructions). This required some additional email exchanges with the host. The hot water in the shower was very erratic. No instructions for disposal of garbage (and only one garbage bag provided for a long stay). Only one towel per person for a stay of 8 nights. Only one roll of toilet paper provided for a stay of 8 days. Difficult to access the apartment on the second floor with luggage due to a rather steep staircase. A full length mirror (even inside the wardrobe doors) would be useful.

Nice and comfortable apartment

Very nice apartment, Comfortable and elegant. Bus station is less than one minute and there is a supermarket just around the corner

Tableware was a bit limited. Especially for breakfast some bowls would be nice for müsli or salad and maybe an additional drinking glass.

Perfect location and rental for a few days of business in Brussels.

The appartment was very clean, well organized, and relaxing. Bed was very comfortable! Hotels can be very hit or miss in Brussels and Golden Dove was a nice discovery.

The third floor loft has steep steps up to the bedroom area, it was perfectly fine for a few days but care was needed going up and down (would not be appropriate for young children or older people).

Good for one or two nights, but prepare your earplugs!

There were plenty of sweets and snacks left in the apartment, including also bottles of water and coffee capsules. The apartment has a very nice style, spacious even for a couple. The bus stop is nearby, 1-2 min from the entrance.

The bed was OK, but the pillows were more for design and not for sleeping. Even though my neighbors were not making particular noises, I could hear literally every step in the apartment above. Street noise also coming in, so the isolation is not very good. These two things made it difficult to sleep well. Bonus that there were earplugs prepared to the bedside. The carpet and sofa should be cleaned.

Great modern apartment close to the European Institutions

Location The apartment is modern and very well designed and includes a lot of facilities for a small apartment, I was positively impressed in that regard.

The card and code system of the door is a bit annoying to get the hang of it at first, but eventually managed. I'm not sure if the bedding was clean, there was hair. The shower control for hot/cold water was confusing.

A good choice to feel like home for a couple of days

We got very clear instructions how to enter the apartment. It is well furnished and is a good place for a short stay. The studio is very comfortably divided in several spaces. Little snacks from the kitchen helped us to cheer up after arrival. The personal answered in chat very quickly and we were so happy that they cared a lot about the guests. All the places we needed to visit were rather close to the apartment. Wifi was very good. There were an electric kettle, a coffee machine, a microwave, and an oven in the kitchen, all kinds of kitchen appliances were there too.

The neighbourhood can be loud sometimes, as it is close to the center of the city.

Nice, tiny and comfy apartment in a very good location

Very good location, close to Flagey, Plac Jourdan or the European Quarter. Apartment is well equipped although there is no dish washer (no complains, I just haven't checked before my booking, all is cool). It also has a tiny balcony, which I would prefer much bigger, but all in all we have spent on it very good time each evening and it was even a kind of the romantic flavor during few days of our stay there haha... So balcony is cool too. :)

Brussels visit cozy basis in

A very reasonable location, easily reachable. A nice walk to the centre and various parts of Brussels. Good communication with the staff, although I haven't met anyone in person, everything was handled promptly. The apartment had all necessary facilities. Very comfortable bed, a nice space for a single traveler or a couple. There is a shop just seeing the corner, plenty of restaurants and bars.

Nothing to complain. Just to be aware of relatively narrow, steep stairs to the second floor, no lift. The apartment faces the main street, so the traffic is heard, but I could have dealt with it.

Good overnight business stay.

The apartment was cozy and clean. For a one-night stay, it fitted perfectly. The entrance was easy, as the host explained everything in great detail. I would recommend this place for everybody in need of a business, overnight stay.

The stairway is a bit cramped, and it's a bit difficult to carry larger luggage. Also, the apartment is directly above the street, so noise is to be expected. There is no air-conditioner, but the fan in the room provides good cooling option.

Nicely and modern furnished, comfortable bed, small night sensor lamp, treats ( chips, cola, chocolates)

No air conditioning ( there was a fan), thin curtains, very loud street ( a little noise when windows are closed), not enough towels, bed lights didn't work, somebody wake me up as they missed there floor and were trying to open my appartment with their key, they call me to tell me they saw me taking two badges and I only return one ( I did return both).

it was just so homely when you come in, little chocolates, water bottles and more. after a long day at work, just what I needed. Very clean, just like in the photos

there was a little bit of road noise, so if you are used to quiet villages you might want to use ear plugs.
