Great location, at the river and close to the town. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We loved staying here.
Just the small, thin towels.
We initially missed the turnoff, if you do that don’t let the satnav direct you down Rubbybanks Road. It’s extremely difficult to drive down.
Parking at the property was not easy but manageable (and we had a big car).

Lovely little cottage in a great location - close to all the town centre shops. Cottage had everything needed for a comfortable stay and really warm. Host is lovely and very responsive. A better clean between handovers and it would be 5-stars.
On arrival, we found a used grill tray, which smelled quite bad, and some of the cookware and crockery were also a bit dirty.
There were crumbs in the cupboards, drawers, and worktops and hairs in the shower tray. It wasn't bad, but it made us feel like we had to wash everything and clean inside the cupboards before using anything. The hot water wasn't working properly (these things happen), but Linda responded really quickly to get British Gas out the next day and even gave us a gift to apologise for the inconvenience, which was really appreciated.

A fabulous little cottage right in the heart of Cockermouth. Handy for the shops and restaurants - and to go exploring. Space for one car to park (tight if you car is big), but there is a carpark just over the footbridge for additional cars.
We will use again.
We found it hard to find in the dark - but I hadn’t screen shot the bottom of the instructions!
