If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at either Neuer Zugspitzbahnhof Station, a short 5-minute walk away, or Garmisch-Partenkirchen (ZEI-Garmisch-Partenkirchen Train Station), 7 minutes away.

The apartment is the perfect home base when staying in GAPA. Just a few blocks from the Marienplatz (city center), the train and bus station, and also the beautiful walking trails in the surrounding fields . It is beautifully decorated and well-appointed with everything you’ll need for a great stay in beautiful Garmisch. Frau Scheck is an excellent host as well.

This apartment is perfect for mountain walking/hiking. The place was clean, good air, nice balcony with a nice view. Our landlady, Barbara, made us feel welcome.
