Beautiful

Beautiful, comfortable cottage. Excellent facilities. Bonus to have large second smart TV in bedroom. Residential parking permit very convenient. Gorgeous little private back garden. Owners very responsive and helpful.

It wasn’t an issue for us, as we came equipped with our own supplies, but there was no tea in the cottage. A very small thing however, as, overall, the facilities were excellent. The recycling boxes in the back garden were full, but we know that this would have been beyond the owner’s control, and the main thing is that the boxes and contents were clean.

Cosy cottage, near the beach, perfect for a family.

The cottage is very cosy and quiet at night. There's a nice patio at the back with an outdoor settee, was lovely to sit on. Pretty interiors, well equipped kitchen, cleaning products provided, plenty of towels.

We had a little issue with a bedroom and a shower. The owner arrived promptly and sorted this out. The area is not the prettiest, but it was quiet and not far from the beach and playpark.

Cosy little cottage

Check in was very simple, Martin was very friendly and even called us when the cottage was ready for us to check in, he even gave us recommendations on things to do during our stay. We had everything we could possibly need for our two night stay & we all slept very well. Everything was immaculately clean and smelt so fresh when we walked in. Great value for money.

Cosy cottage with everything you need for your holiday

Beautifully-appointed 2-br cottage, just a block from the beachfront and a short walk to cafes, pubs, shops. Friendly and helpful host who sorted out the faulty remote control for us. Parking available in the nearby streets. Very comfortable.

Fabulous comfy cottage perfect for a stay in Morecambe

Perfect location. Beautifully furnished cottage with everything you could need. Very clean and tidy. Managed to park right outside the door. Lovely little seating area out the back. Owner was very helpful and friendly.

Shower unit was a little small but perfect for the size of the bathroom and spotlessly clean.

Our 2nd stay and it won’t be our last!

This is our second time staying at the property and we really like it here. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance which we love. The house is like home from home, all the little things have been thought about to make your stay perfect. The host is very helpful, friendly and accommodating!

The only thing I would say would improve the property would be black out blinds. I’m a very light sleeper and I need complete darkness so that’s the only thing I didn’t like. However that won’t put me off returning!

Cozy cottage in awesome location

We loved the location, it had everything we needed and just the right size. We were visiting family who lived just around the corner. The owner even called us before our stay to check that we were ok with the parking which was lovely of him. We will be staying again in a couple of weeks.

The owners were very quick and helpful when I needed help.

It's a little early to be out of the property, leaving it tidy especially when you have children staying with you, to be out of the property before 10am was a bit of a rush.

Comfy and convenient

Very convenient location 2 min walk to beach and main promenade. Very comfy and well furnished. Master bedroom is huge.

Lack of info about car parking arrangements which are complicated. Contacted the owners before we went but didn’t get a reply. We ended up paying £8 for a 24 hour car park only to find there is a visitors permit inside the cottage and a map showing where free parking is available. It would have been very helpful to communicate this in advance. Didn’t like finding used towels in the bedroom but as everywhere was generally spotless this was probably just an oversight.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning

The location of the property was excellent, very close to beach. Everything in the house was top of the range and extremely comfortable. Martin and Claire were very accessible for help with how to use the high tech TV etc. and advice where to visit. The house had a shared courtyard at the back and neighbours had dogs but we found them very friendly and got on really well with everyone.

Maybe you could leave a folder with instructions how to use the TV, microwave etc. Theproperty even had an air fryer but we didn’t know how to use it

It was very cold it took at least a day before the house warmed up. I understand there may not have been anyone staying before us in February so putting the heating on sooner would have made our stay cosy.

The Bay cottage, Morcambe

The location is exultant and the owners were always at the end of a phone if you needed them, nothing was too much trouble,also they accepted my guide dog even though its a no pets accommodation. The cottage is clean and comfortable and very well kept, it has everything you need. I would definitely recommend a stay in this beautiful cottage. We will definitely return.
