The cottage was spotless, the furniture and equipment were high quality. Beds were comfortable, the towels were fluffy. Just a short walk into town, Lancaster only 15 min and Windermere around an hour away

We really enjoyed our stay at Bay Cottage. The property being dog-friendly was a huge plus for us, and it’s perfectly located with everything you need close by. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance, including the beach, a pub just a minute away, and other places to eat and drink. There’s also a dog park and a children’s play area nearby, which added to the convenience.
Shops are only a short drive away too, with Asda and Sainsbury’s just a few minutes away, and Aldi and the retail park nearby. The host was excellent—very attentive and kept in touch throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free.
Nothing at all—we were very happy with everything.

Second time visiting and everything exceptional again . Warm , cozy , comfy beds and hot tub and sauna were great 😃

Location
The house is lovely but needs some tlc smells lovely and clean when you walk in but really is not a strong air freshener does not mean it’s clean had to clean all dishes before we used them crumbs on floors and under the oven old stained sponge to wash up with
Broken blind in bedroom no cover over the hot tub and polls are held up with wire and house next door made us feel uncomfortable as had the phone on window over looking the hot tub so didn’t feel like we could go back in hot tub
Fire looks to small for gap it’s in so big hole under it have taken more photos but wouldn’t let me add them
