Modern and comfortable stay in Morecambe

The host was excellent with communication right the way through, very kind and helpful. The house was lovely, clean and modern there was a lot of little touches that made it very pleasant, lovely new fresh soft towels, helpful guides on the house facilities and hot refreshments and biscuits. They had a lovely outdoor decked garden space with cozy lighting that came on when it got dark.Very close to the beach!

The area had two pubs nearby, one on the street and the other across from it, it wasn't too bad after pub closing hours when the music and things from the pub had died down. I would still recommend this place as a great seaside location.

The bed in the back bedroom was really Uncomfortable it has 2 different mattresses , one is higher than the other and was very hard and i could not sleep my back and ribs felt bruised I ended up sleeping in the bed in the small room so you could do with new mattresses med to firm , there was also a damp smell from the cupboard under the stairs , and the garden was to small for a large dog so would recommend you put court yard garden suitable for small dogs . and maybe some rugs to stop dogs slipping on the floors . and some throws to pop over the furniture that can be washed when dogs are there .

Newly modernised and new appliances and freshly painted. Quite clean inside. Comfortable seating and beds. Dog friendly.

Pub across the road. Noise from pub and people outside the pub. There was a pub window broken and boarded up on our first night. There were several broken glasses on the pavement outside the property and more on the path leading to the front door, also on the door step and path along the side of the property and in the back garden. It took at least an hour to clean the areas to make it safe (dog friendly). There are even broken glasses on the upper window sills from thrown glasses. The bath and shower are poor and black floater came out of the hot tap. The bathroom door opens outwards and hides the light switch (a pull cord switch would be better).
