. Great location for my visit. Shops and cafes nearby .Plenty of space for one .Host was easy to contact.
No mirror in bathroom and v dim light in there.Shower just a trickle.Wifi code semi-illegibly written . Heating difficult to operate and no prominent instructions. No obvious fire safety instructions and problems locking the fire-escape door.(host responded quickly). No TV. Overwhelming smell of bleach on arrival.(some people could be allergic)

Location
I was on the top floor lots of stairs
4.0 / 10.0
The location only.
Too many stairs. Hallways had an odor. Old building with uneven floors. Spiderwebs at the windows. No tv or radio. Toiletries were used and near empty so that we wouldn’t trust using them.

Nothing
It was difficult to find, smelly when you walked in, no tele, radio or Wi-Fi so we left straightaway, people weren’t very cooperative when we asked for some sort of refund so would not recommend.
7.0 / 10.0
Location, ease of access, provision of basic amenities
A damp musty smell necessitating windows to be kept open throughout our stay- fine in summer, less so in cooler weather.
No television, and misleading information concerning the WiFi code.

Very well stocked - everything you needed for cooking like oil, salt except your food. Lots of details to make sure the stay is as easy as possible.
Not much to critique, except maybe the lights for the stairs could have been better marked at night, and the flat itself is a little tricky to find.

it looks amazing in The photos, but it was The most horrible experience i have ever had, and trust me, i have travelled worldwide
starting The entrance, everything smells like it was a Funeral, the walls are uneven, dirty, The bed is small, and everything is antique, and not it a Good vintage way. The english way of having separate cold and HOT water at The sink would not have been such a Big problem, but The shower could not be set in The middle, The temperature fluctuated constantly, So you would get burnt or freeze during the same shower sesh.
i will not speak about The damn Windows, i don’t think they ever Cleaned them..
Except all those, the freakin’ fire alarm started during the Night, in The bedeoom and outside.. we do not Smoke and were sleeping.. i contacted The Host, who came after 30 min of horror sound, in The middle of The Night, and i told them i was sleeping and it is not normal for this to happen, and what made me Go Crazy was their response: So were we, sleeping.
anyways, it was a horror experience. Hope it will help people understand that the property and price are overrated.

I used this apartment as a base for hiking holidays in Gower, and it worked very well, all sites I wanted to visit were within 30 min drive. It was also easy to find free parking close to the apartment on the same or nearby streets. Kitchen is well equipped. Sainsbury's and Tesco are within 2 min walk from the apartment, so it is easy to get food supplies. The landlord was friendly and helpful. Very quiet, could not hear neighbours or any noise from the street, so had a good night sleep. Overall, I thought the apartment was good value for money.
Apartment is on the 2nd floor, quite steep stairs, so hard to curry luggage upstairs. Bathroom needs a bit of renovation. Having a mirror in a bathroom would be a bonus. Did not enjoy separate cold and hot water taps in bathroom and kitchen, but that might be a personal preference. Can't open window in the bedroom. There is no TV, but there is WIFI.

Location was brilliant. Situated at Uplands it is a brisk 15 mins walk into Swansea centre and there's lots of bars, restaurants and food shops around.
Bed was quite comfortable.
Functional accommodation.
Owner - Paul, very friendly.
It was a very basic accommodation. No frills. Lacking "love" shall we say. Price reflects accommodation really. No TV but it had WiFi. Could do with blackout curtains in bedroom and an extra blanket as I was cold. Electric wall heaters on walls but takes a while to warm up room. Needs updating and on top floor. Downstairs were quite noisy on a Friday night but otherwise a quiet location just away from the hustle and bustle of Uplands.
