Fantastic cosy cottage which was well equipped and comfortable

A real home from home.

Crier Cottage is fantastically located in easy walking distance of all the town attractions. The cottage had everything we could possibly need for a week away and was clean & very comfortable. Excellent value for money and we would happily visit again. No complaints at all

A little gem of a place, perfectly placed in historic Alnwick!

We just wanted a place to lay our heads, however we were very pleasantly surprised. It was warm and comfortable, with all the amenities of home. We thought that the welcome pack was a lovely touch. It is perfectly placed and not far from a car park off the road that nearly always has spaces; because its out of the way. There is a small cobbled area in front of the terrace where you can stop briefly to load and unload the car. There has been a lot of thought gone into making this a great holiday home, plenty of storage, games for all ages, books and local guides. We had a great stay. There is a small courtyard space to the rear that might be nice to sit in in high summer.

The only slight down side was the beds could have been a little more comfy, from the point of view of my wife. I slept soundly however.
