An amazing Harry Potter experience apartment.

Attention to the Harry Potter theme was incredible. Two days into our stay and we were still finding little extras. Apartment had been equipped to a very high standard. Games and DVD were great entertainment. Central location in the town centre made all the excellent restaurants accessible within a few minutes walk.

One item we would maybe advise is a shoe rack. We visited the weekend after a heavy snowfall and were concerned about our walking shoes on the carpets. There was nothing else which Lucy and Gav had not supplied for a very enjoyable stay.

Wizarding world

What a wonderful place in the heart of Alnwick. Very clean and tidy. A lovely welcome pack, (bonus a bottle of prosecco). My autistic son loved the Harry Potter theme. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

The apartment was amazing, actually above expectations!. The attention to detail was wonderful an absolute for Harry Potter fans, my grandchildren had so much fun finding all the little extra touches. The welcome basket was such a bonus, with such lovely little gifts for the children. I would highly recommend the Wizards Loft and Alnwick is a lovely place to visit.

Fabulous apartment

This is an absolutely fabulous apartment and exceeded our expectations. Very spacious and had everything we needed. The Harry Potter theme is brilliant and you spot new things all the time. Perfectly located for walking to Alnwick castle, with castle views too. Absolutely loved the Harry Potter theme tune as we walked in. So many magical touches, and we loved that we had access to Harry Potter dvds and games. We wished we had booked for longer!

Excellent place to stay for Harry Potter fans.

It's an amazing place to stay. We loved all the Harry Potter things. The video box set to watch was a nice touch. We enjoyed watching a couple of our favourite Harry Potter films. There was so much space in the apartment. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise. The location is great. Right in the centre of the town. We parked outside at night and set our disc for 8am. This meant we had until 10am the next morning to move the car. We would definitely stay again and recommend the place

A magical stay

The property was immaculate and contained absolutely everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The harry potter theme made this a magical experience for our seven year old son who loved all the little details. The location was perfect and we could explore the town of Alnwick castle gardens and lillidori and pop back with ease. Would highly recommend this property. Was sad to leave.

Super place for Harry Potter lovers and a great location to walk to Alnwick castle and gardens.

We loved the Harry Potter theme throughout the apartment - from the theme tune playing as we walked up stairs, the decor and the Harry Potter DVDs to watch.

The double bedroom was very small with little space to put our suitcases but that was a minor detail.

Fab place

The location was perfect. The downside are the steep stairs with luggage. The welcome pack is fabulous. Very cosy, spacious, well equipped. Spacious bedrooms, particularly liked the top bedroom.

The steep stairs There was a very bad unwashed mark/stain on a quilt cover and I'm waiting for a reply, we had to take the quilt cover off. Bad laundering but other bedding and towels were spotless.

2 nights, Harry Potter themed stay to see Alnwick castle, staying in a great central location.

Brilliant location. Alnwick is lovely, right opposite the market place. Rooms were really well thought out and decorated for Harry Potter theme. Clean and well presented. Welcome hamper with tea, coffee, wine, biscuits, crisps etc was a lovely touch. All the bits like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, etc were well provided.

Rubbish bins not big enough and didn’t know where to take excess rubbish. Induction hob was unfathamable! Couldn’t boil an egg. No contact from host about either subject despite texting. There are a lot of steps to get up to the rooms. But tbf we’d stay there again.

Harry Potter apartment

Central position in Alnwick with a Harry Potter theme. Lots of information about the area, where to eat and where to shop. Parking nearby and could park for 2 hours immediately outside. Both a bathroom and one bedroom with an ensuite. Provided a basket of goodies on arrival which was a nice touch. Grandchildren who like Harry Potter will love it.

It is called the Wizards Loft but wished it had been on the 1st and 2nd floor and not the 2nd and 3rd floor. Need to be quite fit for all the stairs. Everything thought out but need to take shower gel as no dispenser in either shower.

Fabulous location & property

Fabulous location, we were in the area visiting family but also booked to visit local attractions. The apartment was really clean & spacious. Our girls loved the Harry Potter theme, it added lots of excitement to the stay & there was so much attention to detail with all the props which made it extra special. Great to be able to view Alnwick Castle from the living room window. Would definitely look to book again.

The quality of the apartment was superb. Lots of lovely thoughtful details throughout the property. The location was very central with easy access to shops, cafes and attractions.

I can't think of anything we didn't like. The whole family loved the stay and the girls especially enjoyed all the Harry Potter details.

Brilliant place to stay in Alnwick

Amazing location and a must stay place for Harry Potter fans - loved the music at the front door! Large apartment with super comfy beds and exceptionally clean. Good communication beforehand to arrange access etc. Easy parking outside flat for up to 2 hours and then free 24 hour parking within a 10 min stroll. Morrisons and High Street shops on your doorstep, with pubs and restaurants galore all around. Easy to walk to Alnwick Castle and Bamburgh Castle just about 25 mins away too. Just watch as some of the crockery isn't dishwasher compatable. And don't put a light sleeper in the blue bedroom as they have the boiler in the cupboard which fires up when someone showers, a CO2 detector which flashes green all night and the macerator in the ceiling for the bathroom above - but a deep sleeper won't be bothered by any of this though. We would definitely return.

A joy - a perfect home from home with quirky local theme and exquisite attention to detail.

This place is so beautifully done. It far exceeded our expectations from the listing. Every detail has been thought about and more. The theme runs throughout. The facilities are lovely, it is impeccably clean and in a wonderful location. Alnwick was lovely, and everything was within easy reach. A real gem.

It would be great to have black out blinds in the top bedroom.

We all loved the place.

Lovely Apartment in a great location. It was very clean and looked great in all the rooms. The welcome basket was a super surprise. We all loved the themed rooms and decor. We were right there amongst all the shops, cafes and restaurants and found lots of great places to visit. We would recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

The Apartment was at the top of the stairs and the light often went off before we reached the door- could the light timer stay on a wee bit longer please?
